@smoothgent1011 So then he shouldn't be salty. His criticism of Ham as a coach is the reason given by the Lakers that Ham got fired. So if he was calling it back then he has no reason to be salty about the Lakers calling it today.

SAS was talking about his reservations to coach Tibs the other day because he actually watches more than just primetime NYK games. Media talking about this firing like they’ve watched EVERY game from start to finish from October to season end. Real fans know the deal. It took him more than half the season to get the right starters in and reduce the time of others who were contributing minimally. That’s just one knock on him. Yeah the players could’ve played better but Ham was not good.

@@unplugdsessions8684part of it. But I’d argue they actually were. You win or you lose, but how you win or lose matters. The Lakers were beating the Nuggets 75% of the played. All other teams have swept or won 4-1. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve seen Ham take LBJ or AD once we cut a lead only for it to balloon back up once they sit. Or how many times he’s allowed an opponent to cut our lead without calling a timeout. He holds onto them like they rollover them next game. Games 2 and 4 vs Nuggets are prime examples. Let the Nugs go on a massive run and by time a timeout is called, lead is gone or all momentum is their way.

Poor coach Ham, he is just another of the "scapegoats" for every Lakers loss, same with coach Vogel, once you become a Lakers coach, expect that: "When team losses, It's always the Coach and other's fault, BUT everytime team wins Some "very self-absorbed untouchable" always takes ALL Credit."🤦‍♂ *It's hard to find decent people to work in the NBA, ....just high character, Good people, and Ham is one of them. CHARACTER matters in anything* 👏- Bob Myers Very well said Bob, but I wonder if it's an indirect hit to someone, because We observant basketball fans know Ham is not the reason why Laker's got eliminated, but some NOT very good people WITHOUT CHARACTER who are STILL playing in the NBA. Instead of firing Ham, why not have a team check and not just blame the coach and players but also held some "untouchable" accountable? There's an individual which I will not name, but everyone knows this hard core narcissist who happens to also be: 1. Chronic flopper. 2. Chronic whiner and complainer (jumps up and down like a kid when not getting the calls he wanted) 3. Blames others for every failure. (even the officials that favor him, are blamed) 4. Takes all credit for success, but shuns accountability when loosing ("It's just basketball, right?") 5. Takes PED's. (Balco in particular) - but are not getting checked. He's untouchable. 6. Locker room cancer. 7. Scared to play defense. (using his full energy only in offense, let teammates do the "dirty work" (i.e defense") 8. Stat padder. (shooting even at garbage time for the sake of chasing the "scoring" records). 9. Has the ball 97% of the time and demands "plays" revolve around him, thus killing sound ball movement and efficiency. 10. Guilty of un-sportsmanship (always exiting to the dugout, without shaking hands when getting blown out). 11. Chokes and collapse mentally on pressure packed situation, can't handle adversity. 12. Acts as GM and coach, decides on who to fire, decides on who's on the roster, and if It does not work out - Blame and fire them All, except me (the acting GM). or else I leave the team! 13. Had some narcissistic or megalomania tendencies, always referring to himself as King and self proclaiming himself as "the GOAT", "the Chosen1" and "the best player in the world" on numerous occasions. And many other not so pleasant acts, attitudes and proclivities. Characteristics that many just blindly dismissed for the sake of narratives just to protect this "untouchable", who is the REAL cause of the Lakers downfall, removing toxicity and drama is the key to Lakers success.🤔 (hope this honest to goodness commentary shows up.) Cheers. ✌💯

Deym, very much agreed!👏He's the real reason cause and culprit of every Laker's loss, trades, firing of coaches. It's Everybody's Fault, but not the "Chosen" he's chosen according to himself.😂😆🤣

Everybody wasn’t saying the Lakers would beat anybody else except Denver only Steven A and his ESPN phonies were saying that. The Lakers were a mediocre team, they went on 3 game losing streaks all season and the media either scapegoated people or ignored the losing streaks. They Lakers were a number 7 seed for a reason, they weren’t that good, but that’s not the narrative sports media wants to push

I’m confused by this narrative of great players not being accountable in this day in age when a coach is fired. Didn’t Magic have something to do with a coach firing what about Jordan or any of the other greats . Stan was fired for Dwight if I’m not mistaken. Long-standing coaches are few and far between you can probably name them on one hand. Phil, Sloan, Pop, Spolstra, Red, Riley(maybe). Who am I missing here. Media try’s to make it seem like coaches losing their jobs due to clashes with star players is new and that’s furthest from the truth as you can get

@@gutenbirdIt's not on him. That will immediately get him fired so many reasons. It is up to the owner and execs to decide that strat and clearly they didn't do it. Perhaps to protect Lebron's and the franchise's image of losing advertently just to avoid Denver. It will just delay the inevitable. Denver is better than the Lakers, 100%. Apparently, Lebron and AD can't get past them. 2 top 75 against a slow unathletic big in Jokic and oft injured Jamal Murray.

What these “analysts” and journalists won’t tell you is that when the Lakers ran and organized offense they were almost unbeatable. The problem is that they did it at 50% or less in a lot of games and for when it counted in the playoffs. That is absolutely on the coaching staff.
