I have no idea when this idea Trae is this all star guy. The man shoots 30% from three for his playoff career. He shoots 35% from three for his regular season career. Both below league average. Does he have assists? Sure, but he also has like 5 turnovers a game. A ratio of 2 assist to 1 turnover is very bad. And we haven't even gotten to his awful defense

I'd trade Trae Young and Dejounte for picks and those picks need to be for this coming 2024 draft. They need to be unprotected picks, because asking for protected picks Just defeats the purpose. We also need to ship Bey, Hunter, and Capela for picks. That will free up salary cap like crazy, Draft a point guard for trading Young, and draft the best Center available. We could get back to back top 10 picks for Trae and Dejounte plus Capela. Use the picks from trading Bey and a hunter for the best available shooting guard who is the best perimeter defensive player who is also the best pick pocket defender. We need a point guard to defend, pass, hustle for boards, and take occasional shots. The Center needs to be a shot blocker who can pass, rebound and shoot. Preferably Zach Edey
