Stephen Boyd could sing very well! I love the Dinah Shore clip where he sings "The Leprechaun Song". He had a deep, rich singing voice... was a proper actor, with a lot of talent for making even some of the silliest scripts sound OK. Love him lots.

Tragic that Mr. Boyd (ne William Millar, lest you are interested) left this world so soon. I will always remember him as Messala (sp) in Ben-Hur.

The actual dance (a very smooth waltz) sequence may be all too brief but it is exquisite, and greatly enhanced when the music lifts it into a very special movie moment. One of my absolute favourites. It has grace, romance and a touch of humour to bring us back to Earth with a bump. Brilliant.

Is it my imagination, or does Stephen Boyd not have any chemistry with any of his costars? He seems to play inaccessible cads in alot of his movies. Its strange that such a handsome guy just has no spark with women?
@zunineedlepoint36702 жыл бұрын
Check out "Kill" (1971) with Jean Seberg and "The Great Swindle" (1971) with Marisa Mell, both on KZfaq. He's still an inaccessible cad, but there are a lot of sparks! Same goes for "The Night Heaven Fell" (1958), with Brigitte Bardot.
