I'm in my mid 50s and have been watching NBA since 73/74 heavily. Willis Reed was the MVP of the finals beating Wilt and the Lakers 4 games to one. Elgin Baylor was the big thing. Then came this Dude they called Dr J... and man! Lemme tell you! I thought there would never be anybody better than him.....Then came Magic and Bird. Then AIR! Then Kobe! Then Lebron. With each passing superstar I've learned that there'll be another one. You'd think he'll be similar to the ones gone by and watch for the high flying, dunk in your face player.....but not Steph Curry. This dude is the best player I've ever seen play. I never thought that the player that would be better than Mike, (Kobe and Lebron came close but no cigar) would be a 6' 3 long range sniper with deadly ball handling skills. So unselfish too. Steph Curry is the most Skillful player i've ever watched. Absolute magician.

I'm in my late 20s and I used to say "the old stars can't hold a flame to these modern stars" but as I look back on highlights of Magic and Bird, and how confident Bird was (trash talking and whatnot), they were savages too in their era and I understand why older folk are hard to say the new stars are better. Shotty 2 Hotty how am i a hypocrite when Westbrook has no ring, no sense of sportsmanship, or team chemistry. If I recall he was the reason they lost all 3 games in the season against the warriors and he caused okc to blow a 3-1 lead cause he put all his focus on trying to be the star and make Steph curry look bad. one of the best in the league right now. he brings a different element to the game but he is a fierce and true competitor on the court. just as kobe and mike did it. curry is doing it too. i grew up in that kobe era so to witness this is a blessing and it is amazing to see the talent this man is blessed with to play the game he loves and be this good at it. its just amazing. big ups to curry. no one had believed he would be here but he's doing it.

This is probably the greatest montage ever made to an athlete. But what is amazing is that the athlete actually created it by doing all that. It is insane to think that this was 6 years ago and his achievements continue to be legendary. A snippet of what shows the profound intelligence of Curry is seen at 3:34 where he puts Kawai in a blender by anticipating what Kawai was anticipating and then quick minded deception to get the shot off. Pure magic!!!

Best player since MJ imo. Reason is both of these players changed the way the game is played. MJ ushered the NBA into hero ball era. And Steph into 3pt era. Where literally all teams are shooting million 3s now. Plus he's pretty much unguardable, he has elegance and its like watching poetry in motion. One of top 10 when all is said and done for me.
