Dr. Tower was the index case and with the Alaska Department of Health reported the first series of patients with cobalt poisoning from hip implants. Health Watch USA 2015 Conference. Doctors and patients who publicly speak out about PREVENTABLE patient harm are singled out and subjected to financial and social push-back. The hugely profitable and nearly unregulated medical device industry works best when patients are uninformed.

I just spoke to about 8 doctors' offices this morning: NONE of the even know what Systemic Cobalt Poisoning is! So scary . . .

I have a friend that has been diagnosed dementia and he had a hip replacement years ago I'm wondering this could be a possible connection

As we speak my brother is in and out of surgery having to clean out the puss and gunk from his hip replacement he had 9yrs ago here in Australia. Very disappointing when you realize your govt and greedy corporations are not for your care health and welfare but all for lining their own pockets.

I have had my MOM for 7 years with no signs of higher cobalt or chromium levels in my blood.

Mark, did you actually have a cobalt blood serum level taken? And what was it? 0.1 to 0.4mcg/L is considered "acceptable" (though it is like arsenic). Above 0.4 to 0.9 is low toxic. 1.0 is considered toxic and lethal. Some hip recipients have cobalt levels in the hundreds!

Morgan lethal in how long of time? Mine has been 3.0 ppb for 3 years but I'm not sick.

@@vincewarren1271 Keep watching Dr. Tower. It took me 6-10 years before I got completely chronically ill . . . very much like Chemically-activated MS! But doctors run when you talk about cobalt. It is a HUGE scam in the hip industry.

@@vincewarren1271 I have had 4 hip surgeries (2 on each side) from 2007 to 2012; the cobalt levels were hidden from me; the contents of a large pressurized pseudotumor were "sent to an outside facility". We're all powerless guinea pigs.
