These "shooting" tripods are just re-branded photography tripods. You just have to pick the right weight ratings for the legs and the ball head. Exact same stuff. Wildlife lenses on a full frame dslr weigh and cost more than rifles. Tripods are built to handle that.

Learned a lot here on why I should upgrade to a shooting-specific tripod from the heavy-duty photo/video tripod I currently have. I'm a vortex fan due to the quality and the way they take care of customers.

That rail mount he is using is called the "SC-LR Clamp" by Really Right Stuff. They don't seem to make them any more though.

That tripod is awesome but I immediately assumed the Fred Sanford heart attack position when I saw the price. However they do seem to be worth every penny.

That’s a very nice as well as expensive set up! $380 for the BH-55 alone plus about another $700 + for the tripod, definitely not for the poor man. Looking forward to your next videos!

I just bought and returned a BOG Sherpa today. I’m only 5 11 and I couldn’t even adjust that tripod to walk up and have my rifle at the correct height. No matter what I was going to be slouching to take a shot standing. This was with max height and the center pole up which also makes the tripod way less sturdy. I’m definitely getting one of these now.

WAY outside my price range for a tripod. Another great video!!! I'm really surprised that VORETX didn't have the forethought to make it adaptable to both rail systems.

I like your videos because I can relate to you and to the explanations for most of the varmint you hunt. It appears that you are a farmer or rancher and I understand why you’d want to eliminate threats to your livelihood. What I don’t understand is why you have bought into the idea that indiscriminate killing of coyotes is necessary. You showed how beavers were changing how water it distributed on your property and it’s obvious that hogs are a pest in Texas. Why kill the one predator large enough to control the hog population and remove beavers from an area? It seems counterintuitive and you don’t strike as a person that has made poor choices. Coyote kills might make good video but it seems like the returns are less than the benefit! If I’m wrong please enlighten me.
