This is how a villain should be! This version of Steppenwolf is incredible, his first appearance is chilling and I really enjoyed his screentime. I really want to see his origin, home planet and the life of his race.

I love how Snyder actually made him a beast, and a force to reckoned with, but you can clearly see he has a sadness in his eyes.

@@Facade953 darkseid doesn't care about his family : 1.He kill his own mom to get the throne of apocalypse so he can be king. 2.He doesn't care about his own uncle dead but his uncle really care for him really bad darkseid always act like Steppenwolf is just his general and nothing else.

You can just feel how desperately Snyder pushed this film into a state of perfection, in short, a masterpiece and he did it and i hate to say this, but his daughter's death have had to be the biggest motivator, i mean, this film was a tribute to his daughter, you could say that a tragedy was what drove this film to be so great. I can honestly see this film breaking records, this film in my opinion is actually better than endgame, i really thought i would never say it but i just can't lie to myself, it really is.

This steppenwolf is cool and actually SMART. Every time he strikes he goes directly for the goal, gets it and retreats immediately. Especially in the tunnel fight, dude broke the tunnel to stall the league after getting stunned by WW, then teleports right away, not risking it at all

It's amazing how Steppenwolf was elevated as a certified bad ass with layers of sympathy and tenacity, all while Darkseid was clearly on top of the mountain. Hope there's a sequel.

Think of it like a royal dynasty. Say a king has a son. The king's brother would have to bow and respect the son when the son becomes King, and on top of that, if the son happens to be much more powerful, the uncle will bow without question

In fact I would've added some moments, showing him alone, speaking to himself of how muc different and peaceful Apokolips was before the rise of his nephew. Something of a regret that his homeworld became a hell-hole in the universe.

I really feel bad for steppy. This movie made me feel that. I want New Gods to use this steppenwolf and let's see his backstory. I want him to come back. His voice and his face, so much sadness and regret. All he wants was forgiveness and be returned to his home. He's a villain, but, i want to see more of him in the future.

The part where steppenwolf pleads with dessad you could see his voice slip being emotional talking about uniting the mother boxes after dessad shits on him😢. And the armor looked so sick at certain parts.. I kinda wished he wasn't embarrassed and killed off like that at the end.

Considering the entire league and Superman fought him, you gotta give Steppenwolf credit. He technically did synchronize the unity and succeed Darkseid. If it wasn’t for Flash, he would’ve truly succeeded. THAT is a powerful villain. That is the general of Darkseid’s army.

Stephenwolf was so badass, menacing and a big threat, a true warrior but in the end of the movie we feel sad when he dies. He did everything for his master but the master doesnt give a damn, crushing his head . That shows what kind of villain Darkseid is. Zack made an ordinary character into one of the great villains of comic book movies.

Man I really felt bad for Steppenwolf in this movie. Especially after seeing his face when Desaad said he owed Darkseid 50000 planets. 50,000 plannets lmfao can you imagine that? My lazy ass would just give up and be ready to be slaughtered by Darkseid. 😭😂💀 It's like he just wanted to be acknowledged by Darkseid, and return home. Poor guy. He was an asshole nonetheless.

Aseem Darkseid gave him that ultimatum because he never had any intention to forgive him, so he gave him a nigh impossible task. The new Gods are immortal so maybe he could have succeeded at some point but with every planet he conquers he faces the real danger of running into someone stronger than him and becoming anihilated before he completes his goal. Darkseid is a cruel bastard.

The first time he showed up, he got humiliated in Justice League 2017 The second time, he got humiliated too but he died doing what he love. Fighting to the end

Even though he would have eventually be defeated by Superman it was not fair of Aquaman to stab him from back. I also didn't like Darksied stamping Steppenwolf's head and crushing it as if he was nothing to him. I think that scene is to show how badass Darksied really was.

@@ramgopal2520 and also WW cutting his head off. Like just let the poor guy die peacefully, but NO, after that much beating from Supes, after stabbed to death, then got head chopped and yet that was not enough for Synder. He's like, something is still missing, " get skull crushed ". Ahh much better

To a certain extent, you can kinda sympathize with him, he just wants to go home no matter what after a mistake he made. Although said mistake was pretty severe, he regrets and wishes to make amends, he even knows that it will take him 10s of thousands of years before he can ever hope to achieve the debt he owes but he has no other choice.Not only that but the task was and isn't even a challenge to him, for someone like him it's like crushing ants and nothing else, he finds no joy or has long since lost the passion on being a general, only going through the monotony of conquering worlds to regain a place alongside darkside.

Watched the movie and absolutely glad to see this is the Steppenwolf this movie deserved in the first place. However I was upset and sad to see how desperate and anxious he was to please Darkseid. No matter how hard they tried to make him look hateful I felt sorry for him towards the end. But it was meant to be or else we would not know the gravity of Darkseid's brooding nature and tone for future sequels (if there are any)

I like both but steppenwolf? Boy I never expect how such a throw-away character (sometimes) in the comics be so badass all thanks to Zacks visionary. The whole JL movie made me feel like a kid again watching Iron-man 1, incredible hulk, thor and all the past superhero movies before marvel started implemeting those good, but unnessary jokes in their recent movies. Just kills the whole tension everytime. Boy I hope zack gets to direct future movies.

This dude was true beast it never hacked down or showed fear a beast to the end, unlike the other version that had those weird stupid lines about being loved by the amazons, and the stupid thing about calling mom the mother boxes and forget about that crap of him being a coward in the end. This one actually won, if not because of the flash everyone would be reduced to atoms.

I loved Steppenwolf in the Snyder Cut. So fucking badass and scary , you could also sympathize with him in a few scenes. His facial expressions and his eyes had depth, unlike the cartoonish and Grandpa like Steppenwolf we got in Josstice League in 2017. WB must be out of their mind when they decided to change his design back in 2016-17. Hail Snyder!
