Sure, sell yourself on your resume. Anything you have done with cleaning, chemical dilutions, sorting, inventory management, sorting, documentation, filing, computer work and programs, put that down as your skills on your resume. For example if you worked in Walmart stocking shelves your skills is inventory management. You understand the importance of checking for expired products, practicing FIFO, correctly placing items in the correct bins or shelves, reporting out low inventory or location of items via a tracking software. That is relatable to SPD. In the interview respond honestly and be prepared to ask questions. Ask about the turn over rates, staffing shortages, work load and what are their expectations from a new employee. Ask what do they value, Quality or Quantity and how do they balance that if they say they are short staffed. Impress them with your curiosity and ability to relate other industries to SPD.
