Depends upon severity of illness and regular medication under Rheumatologist guidance. Many lives a healthy life . But lupus is an unpredictable disease.

Sir, you are doing a great work for giving us so much information. The doctor's like you are like God to us. Sir i am a patient of axial spondyloarthritis. I consult a rhematologist in Mumbai. But the docter said it has no cure, you need to take medicine to your lifetime. He suggests me etoricoxib 90mg daily for six months. My MRI shows Bilateral sacroiliitis in both SI joints. Sir please suggest.

Thanks for your complement. We r human with knowledge of medical science . Axial spondyloarthritis is an autoimmune disease. All autoimmune diseases are lifelong. The disease may remain silent or high or mild. Treatment varies upon disease activity. Yes etoricoxib is a pain killer and anti inflammatory also for this disease. Duration varies from time to time based on activity of diseases. Stay in touch with your Rheumatologist for guidance. Thanks

sir mera rheumatology treatment aiims se chal raha hai ,mere ghutno me sujan aur dard tha to doctor ne ghutno se liquid nikala aur steroid ke injections diye aur kaha hai ke jb dard ho tab coxitero 90 le... 1 month ho gaya hai sujan me to aram ho gaya hai par dard me tabhi tak aram rehta hai jb tak tab ka asar rehta hai.... to kya main folitrax aur folvite le sakta hu......??

Hello Dr. I am 20 years old, I have a problem in the retinal area in my eyes, swelling in the retina, watery discharge, due to this reason, one year ago, steroid injections were given in my eyes, due to this reason, it was done all over my body. He is full of stretch marks or my weight has gone from 40 to 56 or I have gained about 16 kg weight or even after exercising, dieting and walking 2-3 km daily my weight is not less than 50 or as you said in your video. Whenever u r given some steroid treatment, u know that it will increase weight. So During treatment, u have to follow strict diet control ( no more calorie intake, more fruits and salads like that) and regular exercises.

doctor i recently diagnosed with lichen planus doctor prescribed some medicine includind prednesolone 10 mg per day i take only 2 days because of severe side effects lije blurry vision and tingling inhand and feet excessive thrist and frequent urination these side effects upto 7 days but some blurry vision ( pass ka sab ache se dikhta ha but door ka halka blurry like 100 metre door ka) kya ye sach me blurry bision ha ya me zayada soch raha hoon

Doctors may mix and give you, but not Rheumatologist. Arthritis experts are Rheumatologists, not orthopaedics. My simple message and only one message is that Arthritis doctors are Rheumatologists , not Orthopedic surgeon. Visit Rheumatologist for any joint related problem or arthritis which is not due to accident or trauma. Thanks

I took streiod for 4 years to gain weight... Not continuously.... There were 1 500mg capsule in the morning and 1 tablet to chew... I gain weight 48 to 105 in 4 years ... Belly fat, moon dace,male boobs and thin legs abd arms.. so i decided to cut off... Then i took 1 capsul and 1 tab after 3 days... Then half capsul and half tab after 3 days ... Now i am finishing 1 capaul and 1 tab in 9 days ... My weight is 75 now ... Sometimes i feel headach , lose appetite and waves pain in joints and low sex drive.
