Anthony DeCurtis, music critic and contributing editor at Rolling Stone, speaks with American folk musician and activist Steve Earle. Earle speaks about his relationship with New York City and the release of his latest album, Washington Square Serenade (2007). He reflects on his early life in Texas, his musical influences, living in Nashville, and his work as an activist, especially during the Vietnam War. The discussion is followed by questions from the audience.
