I would love to have her as a neighbor. Talking over the fence a couple times a week would be such a jewel. Not just because she's funny, she's got a fantastic attitude toward life.

As someone who also had C Diff and for myself survived usually a lethal stage 4 cancer 5 yrs ago sometimes all you can do is laugh. Because at some point you figure out crying is no longer affective. Tig helped me laugh through the healing process!

Hurray and good on you to have beat the ugly Big C, Tig! You learn a lot about yourself in the journey, right? In chemo day group we had a lot of laughs and sometimes tears but we always held each other up and that is so, so, so very important - to have someone who you can talk freely to about it. _Be that angel for someone that you know who is on a breast cancer or any cancer journey!_ You will never know how much you helped your friend to beat the cancer, the fear, the anguish, the chemo and just to have someone to talk to that knows what you're feeling is worth everything in the world. Tons of love to all my fellow breast cancer sisters/survivors out there!!

BTW, my husband was so sweet and loving to me, never recoiled or make me feel less than a woman. He took good care of me with nothing but love for me. That means everything in the world to a woman losing a breast.

She really does seem like a genuine person. Amazing comedian, a strong women, fighter, survivor, a wife and mother! She gives off such a positive energy. Love watching her stand ups 👏♥️

Just saw this, and definitely relate. I ignored lumps on my breast too, which was cancer. Mastectomy, radiation, implants were my result. I am glad she found humor, and so did I. It's better than crying.

I didn’t “get” Tig...until just now. This is WHO she is! She’s naturally absolutely herself. And THAT is why she’s lovable. Not a dry sense of humor, or dark sense of humor...or any sense of humor. She speaks the actual way she thinks. And it’s refreshing, uplifting and worthy. NOW, I’m going have to go watch all those videos of her. Luck was shining on Tig and her friend on the hood of the car. A childhood neighbor did the same trick as a teen, but it was a friend driving, not her mother. When the driver turned a corner too fast, my friend slid off the hood and hit her head on the pavement. She slipped into a coma and died a few days later. Tig, I'm glad you're still here. Free spirited mothers can be inspirational, but sheesh!

Stage 2 is not a death sentence, that is still "early" detection, its at the cusp of early but not deadly. (I was diagnosed with Invasive Ductal Carcinoma, I'm a guy, I had stage 2B....I just finished radiation, had chemo finished in April.....I am taking tamoxifen for the next 5 years - I have an 84% of living another 5 years.....)

Based on her book, Tig had a full blown pneumonia during the shooting that they had to made a space with a bed upstairs for her to lie down between the scenes. If it was me I wouldn't have talked to anyone, let alone joking.
