I think what she is trying to say is that Steve Harvey was extremely hurtful and disrespected their relationship. He has enormous success and is widely seen as a personable humanitarian that respects women. If I were a woman that knew him personally and knew that he was low down and dirty I would feel the same as Mary. Often times the people that personally know widely revered people know that the public perception is a facade and would love to scream the truth to the world. I think that's what Mary is trying to do. Steve seems to be a bully that mistreats people and then towers over them with his money and power. That's wrong for the way he treated her. At least give her the respect she deserves and don't try to leave her penniless and take her child because she stood up to you and divorced you. That's wrong. I totally feel Mary's pain.

Tom Joyner represents the mindset of the world we live in today. I have found to my amazement that women are very rarely supported. She is entitled to have a voice and speak her truth. I've known too many men like Steve Harvey and Tom Joyner and at the end of the day they will always receive more support. Men betraying the wives and women betraying women so it's very rare from what I've seen in celebrity and in my own community and sometimes in church for a woman to receive any support.

I do not like the accusatory tone of Tom Joyner's voice. It's like, "Get over it." It is obvious to me that he belongs to the Old Boys's Club. Because Steve is rich, it is very difficult for this poor woman to be heard. How many times during this interview does Mary have to say she has no lawyers? This is awful. What goes around, comes around Everyone will have to give an account, and money will not matter in the end.

"It is very difficult for this poor woman to be heard?" Wrong. She's been all over the media. She's been heard. This is a very bitter, vindictive woman. Steve was CLEARLY wrong (infidelity) in their marriage. That's obvious. But the reason why she don't have any lawyers bc she doesn't have a case. She's just trying to discredit Steve bc his success is significantly growing. She divorced him! She left him. She should've stayed and fought for her marriage, but she let the mistress take him. Mary was the one who suffered with Steve, and sacrificed for success. Mary should've fought for that and not left him so quickly. And concerning the son, there's some more to that case. The law does not play when it comes to children. I believe she is lying.

I have been there. She is not bitter about losing her husband. Her ex husband is hurting his son by not allowing him to have a relationship with his mother. HER SON WILL seek her out when he is of age. My daughter was controlled her whole life by a man who abused her. I was never allowed to talk to her. I went to court and he refused to participate and was held in contempt. By the way he filed many false claims in court about me. I lived 3000 miles away! He just wanted me to suffer.

I really don't know the full logistic of this case. However, Steve got a vehicle, the avenue and or means to do whatever he wants to do. I feel bad for the child because all others involved in this is are grown. I went through this same thing and for some reason, the ladies always have to let the public know the man is and or was no good. Let it go, who cares. Get on with your life and let the person see what they've given up. Keep the public out of your business, they don't care. It's just something additional for the public to gossip and spread negative rumors no or about. There's nothing and I do mean nothing like a Man or Woman scorn. End of story!!

My prayer for you Mary is that you get some counciling and start healing all this deep hurt and move forward to the beautiful life God has for you. If you don't it will hold you hostage for the rest of your life, while Steve will be living and enjoying his. No one is worth that I know it's hard to believe right now but God has so much better for you. It is horrible to attempt to diminish what pain anyone has endured.The interviewers focus is on the negative of her tragedy, try looking at the good it will do in the black community as far as black women standing up for themselves, victims knowing it is okay.You see Mary has a purpose too..remember God does not make mistakes. What does the community have to do with your divorce or wanting to see your son?? She keeps bring up the community in this when it's a personal matter. She says it's not about the money yet she constantly makes references to the difference in the financial standing between Steve Harvey and herself. If your son wanted to talk to you he would have found a way to get in contact with you. He would have tried to defend you regardless of whatever restrictions his father put in place. Mr. Harvey placing a gag order on her is because he wants to shield his family. If you were really looking out for your son you wouldn't be doing this. Mr. Harvey hasn't said anything disrespectful or demeaning about you this whole time, yet here you are bad talking him. That's not cool for your son. I understand that you are hurt and all but pushing this all out to the public is not what's going to get you access to your son.

Why is everyone being so down on Mary Harvey any women would be hurt by their husband cheating on them, especially for him being so blantly disrespectful about the way he handle the situation.For example when anyone gets upset over anything whether it be affairs, their children acting out in school or receiving terrible customer service what do people do, they vent. Why should she be any different. She just has a larger audience because of who she was married to and how it ended.

TJ and S.are very close friends. Now that S is rich and famous TJ is trying to protect S.career. Why wasn't TJ being a peace maker in the community with other celebs in the same seat? No, he made fun of them just like everyone else. S. was even on the View slamming his ex That was a low blow. If I were S. I would apologize to this hurting lady and the mother of my son and then I would set up counciling sessions for her to help her heal and move on with her life. His son needs both of them.

+geneva smith I'm not aware if its true or not, if it is, its irresponsible of her to do that, I've heard kids traveling without an adult, but with supervisions being sorted out-being responsible about it. If she was not responsible about it, then its irresponsible decision that she would have to find a way to correct- of never doing that again, but that shouldn't stop her from having a relationship with her son, that's something she would have to explain and deal with, the only person that should be in the way, if her son genuinely, without anyone talking in his ears, doesn't want a relationship with his mother. When unhappy, angry, depress individuals are going through hardships, their mind and things aren't done the way it should be done, its the responsible choice to move forward in a positive standpoint, and making some compromises. I just think that married parents that are going through divorce, shouldn't keep children from not having a relationship with either or, unless, it is an unsafe/ unstable environment for the child.

Shania...Steve is not nor ever was keeping her from her son. She had custody of her son and gave that up when she put him on the plane and sent him to his father. Her personal assistant has gone on record with this. Her personal assistant said she was told by the boy's mother to purchase the airline tickets, put the boy on the plane and call his father 30 minutes before the plane lands to let him know his son was coming. The assistant also verified Mary had affairs and said she was divorcing Steve.

He started cheating leaving his daughter at her house my daughter @her was the same age but to make a long story short his daughter came up with full bloom aids God worked on this brother. People change! No one knows what happen in their marriage. She divorced him, and ahe sent their son to him. She mad because he has moved on. She isn't concerned with how this is harming her son.

It is, very sad, to see families torn apart for any reason. A dear Steve. Please be strong and don.t let this woman try and drag you down in your heart and in our hean GOD knows what is true. I am a victim of the same situation and the only way I got through it is knowing GOD knows and my heart knows the truth is all that matters. Your x is only looking for more money she had it all and she gave it up. Mary. Grow up and except your own guilt your money hungry you gave your son up so now stop trying to use other women's problems as an excuse to degrade Steve. Solve a problem? on a morning show? by arranging a meeting? Mary I believe that women need to talk more. We need a voice. I hope your platform is one seeking to comfort women who have experienced the traumatic event of divorce. I hope ithelps to bring enlightment to the fairness that needs to occur in the courtroom. The woman will never be separate from her child. We must recognize that. Any child left with a hurting parent is a hurting child. Think about that before, during and after marriage.

Our society has a tendency to haphazardly make women the victim. This is not ALWAYS the case. There are some silly devious weak women in this world too. When Miss Mary didn't have things work in her favor and regretted her irrational decisions, she went to the media with a vengeance?? ... and put HER WEAKNESS ON DISPLAY. MY OPINION: She is emotionally Wounded, Messy, and Foolish. She is an Attractive Lady! She needs to focus on her building a healthy relationship with her son and healing her wounds (guilt). David and Goliath. Her story is believable. This story happens more often than people think and more than people care to acknowledge. Money and celebrity equals power. Power controls adults and things...so believe that it can control a youngster and negatively affect children for a lifetime. Sometimes people need to remember who is who, don't talk behind the celebrity's back while you watch a child be pulled in the wrong celebrity, mo money, goliath direction...that makes your jocking, groupie self an accessory to the crime...abuse of children. just because you're too afraid to lose the $$ connection or too ignorant to get to the truth on behalf of the innocent children.
