Your welcome John, I saw them in my youth club supported by the Poison Girls and my mates Street Hero’s here in Southampton in 1980 and certainly left an impression with my political beliefs throughout my life (The Clash more so)

Is it really CRASS or Steve Ignorant and Friends play the songs of Crass? The message behind the music is still important, no matter how you slice it. I saw Steve Ignoran and The Last Supper some years ago when they came to The U.S. It was a good show.

First off…it’s not Crass, so how could Crass write new stuff? Second, the whole point of this was for Steve to play a bunch of the old stuff. Those who heard/saw it live the first time ain’t exactly spring chickens, but it’s nice to hear the old stuff again…played loud, with Steve belting it out. He sounds good, too.

Really sad. In front of the stage old, very neglected people trying to reach the moments of their youth. And their younger epigones, looking like a caricature of punks from that period. The band itself I don't know why it plays. They don't stir up anything anymore, they don't challenge anything, their lyrics are about past realities. The singer has nothing to drink for, or what's the point? Please, keep quiet over this coffin.

Punk has changed the world in many ways. Most can't see it and will never know. We punks know it and see it. Punk is about opening your mind and not being a close-minded bigot because of your own ignorance. Punk is caring and sharing knowledge and is freedom for all. Might sound corny, but that is all it is about. If you can't get with that, then enjoy your miserable life in the ignorance you've chosen for your life's path. In my own selfish opinion, I believe every single person should read this bands lyrics. It will open your eyes unless you're just a cold-hearted bastard or you have a serious mental and / or learning problem . Ah ha ha! This is for the people that don't know about this band or punk. Also, it's for those who think, "Pop Punk," is Punk. Well, I can't truly say that it is or isn't. However I do know it is some of the lamest, weakest punk there is. (In my opinion.) I couldn't resist getting my digs in on the new crap. Most likely though in or about 10 or 20 years, we will say at least Pop Punk is better than this crap! (whatever, you fill in the blank.) I hate change, most people do as well but change is growth and growth is not always to your benefit or positive. So yeah, it's about change as well. Punk is love.

Yeah they dont do it like crass did and penny needs to be on drums...the full kit kills it. Theyre not at all sounding like crass anymore. Never could tho. Crass was using very cheep equipment with very minimal drums.
