I loved that story! I loved Steve McQueen, and also love Bruce Lee. I cannot imagine Bruce Lee afraid of anything, but Steve McQueen driving a car full tilt? That might do it! Terrific story! Thanks for playing this clip!

Mr. McQueen was an accomplished driver, Mr. Lee was not. He was in unfamiliar territory, therefore he was afraid of how Steve was driving. He did not know what that car could do... with the right driver. SAME for people who see Bruce Lee fight....it scares them. He has knowledge they do not and uses it right in front of them. And of course there was only one Bruce Lee. I have the largest drum set in the world. I understand what it takes to accomplish an unusual feat. I am 66 now...loved Mr. Lee and Mr. McQueen...I grew up watching them. All the best...Dr. Mark

It is so great to get all these new facts of Lee´s life. And yet many people still want to believe he was a hack. Common!, even if he was not the best ever, it is undeniable that was one of the best. Just so many stories to confirm it. This channel is great. How in hell do you get all this stuff?

I got to work on a film with Steve McQueen. "Junior Bonner" I was 14. And almost 6ft tall. They needed experienced Rodeo hands, i was that. Anyways, a nicer more laid back dude didn't exsist.

i scared a Formula V driver doing much the same, except i did a 40 minute city drive in 13 minutes, throug peak traffic - thankfully it wasn't Bruce in the passenger seat! though i did get to drive a Formula V the next day

Bruce was too disciplined .Bruce just acted like he was going to throttle him and if that didn't work, Steve would get a wake up call.

It's sad Bruce didn't have another ten years to make films. He would have been as big a star as any of the stars he trained.

Bruce Lee didn't have to make any additional films; he was already a bigger star than any of the movie stars then by the time he passed. He is a legend of his own league. There is no one quite like him then or now.

China didn't want Lee training it's adversaries children how to fight and better themselves through discipline. He would have inspired an entire generation. They wanted Americans fat, dumb and lazy. It's happening again with Andrew Tate. They don't want someone training these boys.

@@el34glo59 Tarantino stereotyped Bruce Lee as an Asian martial arts actor and didn't dig into the fact that Bruce Lee's background of making a living teaching students King Fu and developed his own Jeet Kune Do before movie career.

Tarantino has some kind of weird dislike for Bruce Lee. Remember right after Bruce Lee's death, there were a bunch of Asian Bruce Lee imitators, like "Bruce Li"? From what I've heard, Tarantino actually thinks the actor that played as "Bruce Li" ("Bruce Li" was not the actor's real name, of course) was better than Bruce Lee. I think Tarantino hates how Bruce gets all the attention. I think Tarantino resents the fact that Bruce is seen as the ultimate icon of martial arts, while all these other Asian actor/martial artists, and their films, are not even known or heard of by Western audiences. For example, I think Tarantino would probably say Sonny Chiba was much better than Bruce Lee.

@@batman.darthmaul You got a point there. Tarantino is influenced by Japanese graphic novels and he takes pride in it. Bruce Lee's long lasting iconic heroic status in Asia is something he couldn't relate to, considering Bruce Lee's anti-japan-in-WWII message in the film.

이소룡 에 제자 중에 한사람 이며 시애틀 장례식장에서 운구 하는관을 들었던 인물 중에 한 사람 이었지요. 당시 스티브 는 엄청나게 유명한 인물 이였지요. 푸른눈에 제임스 딘 이라는 수식어도 따라 다닐 정도로 그의 유명세는 전세계 적이였지요. 이소룡 살아 있었다면 아마도 함께 같은 영화 에서 스승과 제자.또는 서로 에 멋진 엑션 을 볼 수 있었을 겄입니다.올려주신 영상은 한국에서 보기 힘든 영상들이 여러 장면이 있습니다. 너무나 소중한 이소룡 자료 입니다. 언제나 그러했지만 당신에 영상에 박수를 보냅니다. 감사드립니다. 영상 잘보고 갑니다. 엄지척 👍.

So Steve accomplished what he set out to do. Put the fear of death of cars that will kill you if you don't know what they can do in the hands of a novice driver. But Steve took it just a half step too far. ❤ 😂😂😂 but it worked it wasn't a fast car that killed Bruce.

😊 Steve McQueen era um grande ator e também grande motorista (driver). Só que Lee não gostou da condução louca de Steve McQueen quando Steve convidou Lee para uma carona no seu Porche. Devido á condução rápida e louca de Steve , Bruce Lee chateado e com medo , gritou a Steve : Pare o carro já ! Eu vou te matar ! Steve McQueen parou e sabendo que o " forte de Lee" era a luta , pediu desculpa a Lee e pediu : - Por favor ,Lee. Estava na gozação , não me leve a mal nem me mate 😊. Entendi agora ? Vá aprender lições de inglês ( conselho de amigo) , tá ? Aquele abraço 😂😊
