If in some different universe I am part of this show, the debate about Atletico Madrid would go on for hours. Their football style is a myth btw, they play some great stuff in their domestic league and they didn't park the bus against Inter. Football consists of too much narrative and not enough ACTUAL observation!

I mean I hate atletico and their philosophy and tactical gritty “anti football” but the game is about outplaying or at least finding a solution to win in a certain style and they do that. For the olympics I think men’s football should change it to u21 or u23 with a cap for those older who can only participate with less than 20 or 30 caps. Something like that.

I watched the return leg against Inter and Atletico did create chances and there was some good buildup play too, they just missed the target more often than hit it. Simeone is the highest paid manager in Europe, he's real good in getting max money for his overrated players when he sells and he buys at low cost, or on free transfers. He's more business savvy than entire (former) Barca board combined which was proven with the Griezmann transfer to the Catalan side and the back-transfer. In my opinion they will certainly beat Dortmund over the 2 legs and given how they play they are built for tournament football so who knows.
