2 of my heroes. Rushie was my man when I was a kid. Aldo should have been with us for at least 5 or 6 seasons. Always felt sorry for him. Both legends.

Or are you suggesting it was something personal between him and Kenny ? I'd have liked him to stay a bit longer but these things happen. Rush was my childhood hero, best striker in the world pre 87, Aldridge formed part of the trio up front in the best club side I’ve ever seen. Both legends…great interview this…

I started following Liverpool because of Aldo. He was at Newport County which is my local club. I watched him play for us. He left us went elsewhere and then signed for Liverpool. Been a Liverpool fan since then. Seen Rush play for wales too 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿. What a great interview Paul ! ❤

We did Aldo bad. I thought so at the time. I love Rushie but that leaving and coming back hangs over him for me. Aldo would have taken us forward in a great way if Tosh didn't come back. I still love them both.

Was in that crown lounge when crown paints sponsored Liverpool. two players were paid to come in every home game and mingle gets photos taken ect. Ian Rush ain't no legend in my book he ia an arrogant prick. I watched him rush past a young kid asking for his autograph ignore him couldn't wait to get back into the players lounge. Legends my arse
