Lol, when I was much younger(13 in 78), I showed my dad my crush(SP), dad would say find someone younger, even as I got older(22 in 87), dad still encouraged me to find someone younger.......I showed him the recent pic of my crush, what does dad say......find someone older.....lol.....I am apparently too old for my crush (56 in 2021)....lol

I met Steve, in the early 80’s when he lived in Novato, CA ( his heat/ Air went out ) He was a Real nice guy ! Marin has a lot of Stars Huey Lewis, Jerry Garcia, Lee Majors & Farrah, guess cuz We Didn’t bother them, & They liked that ! It was Called Hollywood North. Steve was the nicest, Guy.....

Waited to see him 8 hours at Humboldt State. In 1979 or 1980. Me and my friends had a blast. Front row center. Tossed a big fat one on stage Steve picked it up mouthed Thank You to us. Felt like we where the only ones there.

Oh your making me want to hang my first window icicle lights ! I usually wait till after dinner on Thanksgiving . I , like you, live alone and have fond memories of Christmases past and your melodic voice takes me right back to our Aluminum Tree with the color wheel that rotated slowly changing the color of the tree. Love the album Steve. Steve I hope you read this comment. I just listened to Stay Awhile about 20 times. Your voice is a fucking instrument. It's magic. NO ONE could sing that song like you did. It shows the talent you have. I'm 53, I loved your voice when I was a teenager and all through my life and still do today. Thank you for all these great songs. I played Stay Awhile for my current girlfriend and I can say she thinks the words are meant for her from me. You're an incredibly talented good human being. Thank you for being part of my life.
