I was there in the FRONT ROW! Life changing experience for me to see Steve Perry live. I still have the ticket stub and a pick the guitarist Lincoln Brewster threw to me after almost 30 years! Thanks to my incredible sister for staying up all night long to buy the tickets in person! She was first in line. Those were the days!

I have never had the opportunity to go see journey and Steve Perry, I have never had the money to go see him and every time I have known there was a concert going on it has always really hurt my heart that I could not go see journey and Steve Perry. Every time I hear Steve sing it does something to me always has I start getting tears in my eyes, Steve has such a hi vocal range and the songs he sings fits his vocal range so good he just makes me get tears in my eyes. When I was a teenager in high school I was in choir and my vocal range I used was Steve Perry and the Carpenters and when Steve left journey it broke my heart I cried and all the years that he was not singing, I would play his music and I would think about him quite often, wondering if he was okay and what he was doing. It is so good to see him and hear him play again. If he ever goes back to doing concerts I sure hope I will have the money and transportation to go see him play. I will say I am a devoted fan of Steve Perry and the old journey. Thank you Steve for all the wonderful years of wonderful songs and your voice.❤

I ran across a channel titled "Devin Reacts" today and I think Steve would get a kick out of watching a kid born in the 90's "find" Journey. His reactions to Steve singing are the BEST! The first time he heard Steve "soar" he started looking up for the Angel! LOL I LOVE seeing the "young ones" learn what we "old folks" have known for 4 decades....Steve is the OG "The Voice" and not a tv show!! Loved seeing the fan video get some love here!

This is a *really* hard song to sing. I've recently been attempting it myself, after seeing a video of Ariel Pineda not quite nailing it at the Rock & Roll hall of fame. Much respect, Steve Perry is an awesome singer and seems like an awesome human being as well!

I was at this show. My wife and I scalped tickets outside the venue night of the show and unfortunately missed Sass Jordan opening. Steve was on fire this night and it sounded way better than this in the room. When they lowered his tux jacket from the rafters, the place went nuts! Never got to see Journey live with Steve but extremely grateful to have been at this show. Side note, Lincoln Brewster was just beyond words as was the entire band.

Stranger Things and Cobra Kai are two shows I really wanted to hear a Journey song on their sound tracks. You can't have an 80's nostalgia show without a Journey song! The Stranger Things trailer is absolutely awesome...it is so perfect in the way that it is reworked and how it sets a mood for the show. It definitely has done its job in bringing attention to both the series, and to Journey.

Undoubtedly one of the greatest vocalists in modern history. Such smooth transitions with veiled power underneath. He is a laid-back dude on stage as well. One of the best concerts I have ever seen was Journey, BOC, Triumph, and Aldo Nova in 1982 at the Rose Bowl. I saw them in Nashville a few months back and they brought game. No, it wasn’t as good as the original lineup, but few groups could keep up with their own image 40+ years earlier. Steve Perry will always be the best, and there was magic with that original group but I am glad someone is keeping the music alive and sharing it with a new generation.
