Steve is amazing! He's such a dedicated musician. I've spent many hours listening to his Vital Information albums. Especially the second incarnation of the band with Tom Coster and Frank Gambale.

It's simply amazing how Steve (and Weckl) continue to improve after all these years. It's a "Journey" we've all been very privileged to have been on the past 40+ years.

My first experience with Smith was way back in 1981, in Houston, at The Summit, when he played for Journey and I was there to see him live! I have been a fanatic ever since! He is absolutely my favorite drummer of all-time!
