Marnus Labushagne is the biggest positive that Australia got from this Ashes. See, Steve Smith, Pat Cummins & Mitchell Starc were already known faces and stars of Test Cricket. But, coming as the replacement of Steve Smith and scoring 4 consecutive fifties is a tough job man. Well played Australia, well deserved victory. Waiting for your series vs India.

It's actually a very good technique to counter the 4th stump line bowling. Anyone with a 'normal' techniqu would have difficulties when someone bowls just outside offstump in swinging or seaming conditions. I feel Steve Smith's technique can counter that.

Smith technique is mystery for the bowlers bcoz thay are not used to deal with this stance. Also the "technique" word should not be use in cricket bcoz its about scoring runs (with or without technique, doesn't matter). Technique tells how not to get out, it doesn't tell how to make more and more runs (e.g. Runs scores by edges is not a technique but runs counted).

Steve Smith is a dancing king at the crease. His style and technique is awesome. From him to move around the crease at balls coming at him at 90miles an hour puts the bowler out of his crease. Awesome Steve Smith

Smith has been Godlike, but I still feel there have been a lot of important contributions. Wade's 100 at a rapid pace in the first test insured Australia could set the game up. Couple of 50s from Head when it truly mattered, Labuschagne has done really well in 4/5 innings he batted, Siddle's bowling and 40 odd in the first test was really important too. Smith has been at the helm of it all, but he has been supported well at all the right times by his teammates.
