This song was a big hit for Billy Dean in 1994. I have always loved it. Any time I start to learn a song, I try to find a live acoustic version online to study. It’s always easier to hear the guitar part if the guitar is the only instrument, of course. This song was adapted from a live performance I found on KZfaq at • Billy Dean - Somewhere... . No band, just Billy. If you are going to learn this song, I think you'll find this lesson true to that live performance. I have provided left hand fingering as part of the video. Another great song choice and another great lesson. Thanks for the work that you put into this. Your teaching style is easy and effective and the camera angle is perfect. I know that you enjoy Michael Johnson's music. Have you ever tried to conquer "25 Words or Less"? There are a lot of chord changes but it would be a fun one to play. If you're taking requests, I'd sure like to see that song combined with your knack for working these songs out and your teaching ability! I haven't seen that song covered by anyone on KZfaq. Thanks again for your generous efforts.
