Eve's cadence and delivery in her performance is just phenomenal. She speaks with such experience & conviction. Cannot see where her characters arch will meet & I wont hold any attachment to her for obvious reasons but she's definitely a favorite.

Lord Corlys was the character with the most gravitas. I could feel his presence from beyond my screen. I'm a fan of the books but I'm actually more than fine they changed Corlys' race because the actor is more than delightful in the role. Not to mention, people didn't care when they aged Alicent down, they didn't care when they made Rhaenyra a fifteen year old instead of an 8 year old at the tourney. The show isn't gonna be exactly like the books so it's fine, in my opinion.

Not gonna lie, I was a little surprised at first but the pictures of Steve as Corlys kept coming and now I just can't imagine a better look for house Velaryon nor a better actor to play Corlys. He isn't the Corlys from the book, he is, somehow, even better! 💁🏻♀️

I’m hoping we do. It’s obvious the wheels are turning in their minds but we have yet to be privy to convos in the privacy of their home. That’s the convo I would love to hear…when everyone can speak freely and not have to wear their masks or ask permission to do so.

The best battle is "hardhome" that scene was a surprise and damn good, its like we were being barrage of very good scenes after another.

I have probably watched that battle 5 or 6 times. I'll never forget how terrified I was the first time I saw it. Nothing against Vladimir Furdik, but Richard Brake as the original Night King in Hardhome gave me nightmares.

it's bizzare that otto didn't think of bringing Rhaenys to Dragonstone. Caraxes would tear Syrax to shred, the only dragon that can possibly take on Caraxes is Rhaenys's Meleys.

It's because Otto didn't actually care about getting the egg back, he just wanted to ensure that Daemon and Viserys didn't meet, because they'd make up. He would have succeeded in ratcheting up tensions between the two brothers even further, if only Rhaenyra hadn't showed up to diffuse the situation.

i think otto wanted to provoke daemon to start a war so he could be killed and as we saw daemon loves his family in a way. and rhaenyra and rhaenys prefer a truce with daemon

Otto was basically risking his life provoking Daemon. It didn't seem Daemon cared if he was going to commit treason. Rhaenrya with perfect timing. Caraxes would not kill Syrax. That's his girl.
