You know what i wonder, I wonder how Steve would be as a guitar teacher, He would probably be one of the best out there, I think Steve's knowledge of the guitar would surely boost anybody's skill, and it's not only about how fast and fluently he is, it's about his attitude, his personality. I'd love to be his student, but i wonder how other students would react, I wonder if they would quit guitar because of Steve's super awesome insane playing and skill.

Yeah. It's playing a note on the 6th string and the next octave above. He's using the rest of his fingers to mute the strings in between and around.

the jem555 is a more affordable model of the jems, which makes it slightly cheaper built(eg, the neck wood, the inlays, no scalloped frets, made in korea rather than japan i think)
