Thanks for your comprehensive videos. I had a neigbour verbally abuse my wife using words which no one should ever use to a woman (if at all), now we're Eufy'd up which is helping restore her confidence. Thanks again for no-nonsense, clear videos.

Hey Steve, I saw that you also have the home base of eufy on your phone. Can this set also ring on the home base. I work sometimes in mine garage. There's is also an entree.

Nice video. Is this the only version Eufy doorbell that has the storage in the chime? I was looking at the wired versions and it seems that their storage is in the doorbell itself, which I don't care for.

Eufy needs to get a HomeKit secure video compatible doorbell out soon. Now that Apple One is out with the 2tb iCloud, a bunch of people will be looking to add 4 more hksv cameras

I know this is old but I’m hoping that you’re going to see this. I just bought a couple Eufy cam 2c cameras and a couple indoor cameras. The indoor cameras have been working perfectly fine, but I have been having problems with the outdoor cameras. The same problem over and over again and the customer service can’t seem to help me. So I was wondering what kind of Internet service are you with? I have AT&T 300, maybe it’s my Internet connection? Even though both the Internet service and eufy customer service said it should be perfectly fine with the Internet that I have. I just think it might be the cameras in the HomeBase to is not working well with me. So I’m thinking about just going with this wireless doorbell one because you don’t need the HomeBase2 for it right?

I am glad that I found this video. I just bought the Eufy 1080P wireless model. I had issues with Ring during my years of using it. When Amazon went to deliver my packages, I was notified minutes. Today UPS was the first person who used this doorbell. It responded quickly and with no hassle. The only thing I did not like is the (car) alarm was very loud in an apartment complex and the alarm was difficult to turn it off. I called customer service which helped me to disable it. This was a great tutorial on how to set up the doorbell. Thank you for crash course.

First of all thank you so much for your detailed video. I do have a quick question / issue on Homebase2 connection to my router. I do have tp-link Deco X20 mesh system, when I try to connect my homebase2 with the internet , it has blue blinking light only and then I could see error message "Network Exception, please try again later." With an error screen titled "Unable to add HoemBase2". Could you please help me out? I tried everything reset, unplug power cable, router restart, reset button on homebase2 but it just keep blinking blue led. Help would be highly appreciated 🙏🏼

Great review. Can you put pix of 1080p and 2K together? Steve, I got the wired 2K based on your review. I’m happy with it except for false notifications-flag or palm fronds blowing, even when the dusk-to-dawn coach light comes on! They should be able to add exclude boxes, or enlarge the one, but no. It tells me those alerts are human...crazy. But, I gotta say, Eufy support responded right away. I changed the settings as they told me-still got false alerts. There was a link to send it for further review. They told me they were sorry and to pick any Anker product worth $30.00! They said an update is in the works for better detection. Okay, I can live with those alerts.

I am curious how fast you get notifications as my ring doorbell is kind of slow.The ups guy is usually back to the truck before I get notified.

so do you HAVE to use the homebase/wifi chyme for the entire thing to work properly??? i dont care for recordings jus for viewing current footage on my phone whenever a get a doorbell ring. pre recordings dont necessarily matter to me in this case . any advice or opinions would help me , thanks !!!

Also thanks for the full review, what sold me was when you showed the "Doorbell Press Announcements" integration with Alexa at 7:50, I thought this feature was exclusive for Ring doorbells, the thing is that today (2023) all Fire TVs devices can automatically display a Picture in Picture from the doorbell camera when someone press it and you can talk to them from the Fire TV mic, so this is pretty sweet when you are watching a movie or something

Hi Steve, Bought the Eufy 2k Doorbell but can't get my Alexa Echo Dot to answer when doorbell is pressed, Is it able to have a 2way talk with Echo dot as my wife is blind and we don't want her answering the door herself. Cheers for any info in advance.

As far as I have read, no . The 1080 n the 2k or 4k don't get along within the eufy products. So that means , that if you buy this one , all the other eufy cameras that u can add for the rest of the house , have to be 1080 like the 2c

I just got this. It worked great for about 6 hours. Then my chime went out. Won’t connect to my internet. Without that… the doorbell won’t work. Still haven’t figured out how to get it back online. 😩😩😩😩

In my experience scan disk brand can have poor quality and mess up your equipment as well. I have been using Samsung in my camera…. Professional camera.

I have been trying to add other members in the household access to the camera by sending an invite, but It doesn’t work. It basically is making everyone scan the QR codes again and running them through the whole setup process.

@@SteveDOES it’s a best buy exclusive for now. I chatted with Eufy. They were like what? It’s strange how secretive they are about it. I mean why hide it? They don’t even have it on Eufy website. It’s nuts if you ask me. A chance to outsell the competition. And they say nothing about it

Good video. Are you able to view the doorbell from a google nest hub or echo show using just your voice? For example "alexa, show me the front door" or "alexa show me eufy doorbell" That feature would make it easier for my non tech savvy wife.

I have this exact same model, and I can't get my chime receiver that plugs into the wall outlet to sound when I press the door bell. It seems like it's connected to the internet, though, according to the app on my phone. What gives? Am I missing something?

How do you mount it on the wall? I mean if you have to remove it over and over to charge it what is the best way to stick it on the door with ought worrying that it will fall or leave a mark on the door?

to me, the sound fo 2-way comms is too soft. you can't hear it if you're around 2-3 meters away from the doorbell.

You don't really need a 128gb so card 32gb is plenty trust me. I live in block of flats upto 30 events per day on standard in 9 days only used 0.25gb

If you carry the pin you can remove the device on the bottom release mechanism . They’ll be on camera

Although there's a chance that your doorbell may get stolen, your recordings will be safe

@@Kirby7601 I learned that this is not the case. If the doorbell gets stolen, and they reset it and pair it to another account, all your recordings get automatically deleted. Also in the world of face masks, the recordings have less use. I prefer if they attached with security screws or something.

Was part of the Beta program and I had to charge the battery every 2 weeks,don’t know if any other changes were made apart from the aesthetics of the cam but the battery sucked,apart from that it’s a great cam.
