Hi, I'm Steve Kuban. When I led this Sunday night worship service at our church in Toronto, God took control and led us throughout the entire recording, and then truly poured out His Spirit upon the whole congregation as we worshiped Him. You can experience the same blessing through this live recording. During the song "Come Holy Spirit" (at 37:00) many people came to the front to seek the Lord, and He poured out waves of His presence and glory upon the people. Near the end there is a 6-minute section (starting from 41:39) when everyone sings in tongues, as the Lord took us into an even higher level of personal worship. Praise God that all this was captured on tape. It's my joy to upload the entire album now, so that even more people may experience the presence of God in such a beautiful way. Thank you for watching and listening.
This is one of my very favorite albums of worship! The fast songs are jubilant and uplifting, flowing from one song to the next, which helps the listener "ascend" into the Lord's presence and really enter into praising Him. Then the worship songs declare Christ's work on the cross as we sing from truly grateful hearts. Then during the climax of the album, as we dedicate ourselves afresh to Him and ask the Holy Spirit to fill us to overflowing, He floods us with waves of His holy presence. It's an amazing live album, and many people have said they were filled with the Holy Spirit while singing along with the worship songs.
"Come Holy Spirit" was an amazing night of true heart-felt praise and worship. I'm so thankful to the Lord for enabling us to record it and produce a CD, which became a top-selling album, which was awarded "certified gold" in the Philippines, and has since gone on around the world. Glory to God!

In comparison, I most likely want the 80s to 90's praise and worship like this of Steve Kuban and Bob Fits it's so anointing, today's praise and worship is more likely a worldly concert.

Thanks for sharing your heart. People need to experience true spiritual intimacy with the Lord and connect with Him through worship that is "in spirit and in truth" (John 4:23-24). You mention comparison: With all due respect to contemporary worship artists who truly bring the people into God's presence-Many people who remember the worship of 25-40 years ago, now feel empty during the worship services in their churches today. Just this week a man who I've known from 30+ years ago (a very devout and worshipful man) told me that he and his wife are so irritated by the "worship" in their church, that they now wait 45 minutes until the music is over, before entering the church "because of the noise" (his words, not mine). It's a sad commentary, and many pastors and worship leaders today are not paying attention to the unhappiness of their members. The truth be known, many contemporary "worship team members" (including some young pastors) don't know what true "worship in spirit and truth" actually is-for they seldom if ever have experienced it-and as a result, emotionalism and various gimmicks take the place thereof. The corporate worship and music styles of the '80's and '90's had a pureness of motive, and there was less "stuff" to replace it (such as technology, video screens, "tracks", smoke and lights, iphones and ipads, complex long songs with difficult melodies, etc). So it's no wonder that the congregations of today lose out. If the leaders don't know what true worship is, how can they lead the people into true worship in the church services? It's so sad. I often take time to listen to worship from the 80's and '90's, in particular the Integrity Hosanna worship albums (among others that are now online, thankfully) led by Bob Fitts, Kent Henry, Ron Kenoly (to mention only a few)--and the experience is always refreshing. Last night I listened to several videos of Ron Kenoly from the '90's, and seeing the anointed musicians and entire congregation literally lost in worship, hands raised, tears flowing down their cheeks, just lifted me heavenward. It's also nice to see a worship concert where people raise both their hands focused on the Lord, rather than lifting up a video-smartphone to record the service (because such phones hadn't yet been invented). Like you, I miss many of the spiritual ingredients of the '80's and '90's. And despite the awesome advantages of today's technology (when properly used to enhance the worship), I would be much happier to enjoy the worship of a service like "Come Holy Spirit" (this live album). Hi. 🙋‍♀️ My 61 year old spouse lost his life due to the Cape Cod Hospital Staff. I wanted him treated for his +Potassiun, -Sodium, -Creatinine, -Albumin, and Ascites Infection (from Pleur X Drain) on an 'Outpatient Basis' to begin with. I told his Primary Care Doctor, a family member Nurse, and various Doctors (in writing & in person), and Patient Care Coordinator and PCC Mgmt. when he was in the CCH. There were so many petty delays- to keep testing for remaining Infection, and he never had Covid-19 that know of either. After he was treated, there were still crazy delays! He kept being told by me that I (finally) arranged it so that he could leave the next day, yet it was changed several times, and everytime by the Doctor! Around the 7th. time I was arranging for him to leave, I signed him out AMA Discharge. FOUR Nurses put my light weight husband onto a wheelchair, then they wheeled him out to my car, which I pulled up in front of the CCH Hospital. They made no attempt to sit him in the car, and they were in my way of being able to do it-due to the wall of several Nurses. I had already had a gait belt on him and I am a Nursing Assistant, for my secondary job. They grabbed my spouse, wheeled him back into the hospital away from me his Health Care Proxy and our car (transportation). I had later received phone calls with a Case Manager and a Doctor hollering at me. I found out from the Case Manager that a Nursing Administrator had fabricated a lie "That he was kicking and screaming, and saying that, "He did not want to go home with his wife," and that I had shoved him into the car!" (All were fabricated lies). Tommy had been saying, "If you love me [which I do)] get me out of here!" It gets even weirder of a hospital experience after that too, and I can see the hospital's building's frame and lights from my livingroom window, for we live nearby. I went in to see him-he was still in the hospital- 3-1/2 days later (19+ days then) when I was approached and notified that "He's had no food or water for three days, for he would aspirate." No one told me they were denying him oral food & water, and after they stopped him from going home via foul-play several days prior. I was scolded by a Nurse for putting water on an oral sponge, amid he is not supposed to be denied comfort care (fact)! Then it gets even worse, for then I was approached twice in a row and requested "That I give consent to take his IVs, his only fluids going into his body, so he will fully dehydrate, and to go quicker." I said, "No," twice, and his IVs were taken out in his room change. The Nurse who scolded me for giving him water on an oral sponge had wheeled his bed into the new room announcing that, "He has two hours to live." I found out from a visiting Church female that he had no IVs in! He died that day amid I was called in the morning by the Doctor, and told, 'That he was going home Tuesday after the holiday, unless I did not want him home." I said, "I want him home!" The CCH Staff cost my husband his life. Since, every day I feel 1-6 impartations that he is still supposed to be around and that I almost got him out in time, etc. I am not from the Cape and my husband Tommy was my family, for the last 19+ years. I am feeling very traumatized at our CCH Hospital experience, his losing his life via foul-play, his not being home and mu dealing with everything alone, my missing him, and I feel our future together living out the length of our days together has been vandalized! He was an interesting, funny, personable man, who loved people and God. At home, I am frequently with prayer covering tapes, Christian TV shows, Bible reading sessions, etc., but I feel a profound need for our deliverance and to have him safely back home- to live out the length of our days together! 🙏🙏🙏 Tricia 💞
