really love the high key in flight shot...and the video segments with the snow falling. Great stuff Steve. I'm out looking for great greys on the road today but ended up finding Northern Hawk Owls instead along the north shore of Lake Superior.

Interesting video as always. I saw my first (and so far only) great grey beside Yellowstone lake. Alas it was on a bright September day so between the harsh light and the awfully large crowd that quickly developed, my photos were limited and well below my standards...

Incredible and amazing footage and stills! It has been a while since your last video but I guess worth the wait! I haven't gotten out much lately but did get to see a flock of Sandhill Cranes at the Montezuma Wildlife Refuge area a few of weeks ago! Just wish the lighting had been better. Hope you have some more good luck and thank-you for filming these awesome animals!

They are definitely around but typically more skittish and less active when there is enough light to shoot.
