Great player , loved how he always kept the ball moving when he got a pass under control, a little touch moving the ball, just enough to keep any defenders guessing where he was heading

He was unlucky with injuries he definitely was a great player and I always thought he was hard working for the team, a good team player with purpose.

Great player for us and always loved that he has his own trademark move ... the DJ scratch drag back. However can't feel he shot himself in the foot by basically saying he was asking for too much money (or a contract that could not be given) when trying to still show how much he wanted to stay. Can't have been that badly then can it? Pretty sure he regretted that move and he was never really fit enough on the 2nd innings to make the same impact consistently.

The issue was Trevor we gave a couple of stupid contracts to people who were not as important as Pienaar to the team. Poor management decisions really.
