I’m really taken back by how he’s consistently overweight, yet supposedly having a history of being extremely discipline [in Martial Arts]. It baffles me.

I think it is fine if he is overweight and teaches aikido. My main issue with him is that he stars in these roles and we're to believe that someone who appears overweight and lethargic and mumbles would play into these roles such as a special forces or cia operative. In that one movie there was a knife fight where he's just standing there as this dude can't even hit him. He also seems to conceal the fact that he's overweight often by wearing out of place clothing like mumus or really large gear that doesn't even fit.

Seagal resigned from being sheriff of the fictional Everett County at the beginning of the season to go be a vigilante but all the women working with him are/were still employed by the sheriff's office (and apparently no one there cares they're doing all this non-official work). I think it's hilarious that the police in Vancouver and Seattle apparently don't care that a vigilante is at work with a body count higher than many serial killers.

According to IMBD there were a total of 22 producers and 4 writers (Seagal was both a producer and writer). The other three writers- Joe Halpin, Keoni Waxman (whom was also a director for this series), and Richard Beattie all helped write or produce most of Seagal's films from the mid 2000's to his most recent.

Sorry for the multiposts but I just have so much to say about this. I think this would work a lot better with Steve not being a cop but being a Russian Agent sent to America by Putin to save America because you know Steve thinks Putin is dreamy and Americans are not nearly as good as Russians(circa whenever he decided he was Russian((though not Russian Jewish)) instead of Italian, Native American or Black) Anyway that would explain why Steve has no problem killing anyone and could also explain why NCIS girl had to be used as a field agent, in the words of It's Always Sunny his bench wouldn't be that deep. And he wouldn't arrest anyone just terminate with extreme prejudice
