Steven's dad missed a few huge career opportunities. Portal: why stop at FedEx? You could single handedly monopolize the entire transportation industry. Anything from vehicles, deliveries, and space travel will be revolutioized! Turning back time (what he used to repair the ceiling, I know he said it's building but with the circle and the hand movement and everything I'm pretty damn sure that's just doctor's strange time reversal thing): unbelievably powerful, more than I could explain in this comment, but here are a few things that'd do: history, fossils, earth formation etc. would be verifiable (assuming he can come back to the present after), stop every single tragedy ever from happening, and he'd have infinite time to acquire knowledge to think up more stuff than I did. Electricity generation: power as a resource would be essentially unlimited. That would push bim to his limits, but assuming he can practice it infinitely because of my previous point, we wouldn't need fossil fuels, power plants, and so many opportunities would open up for humanity.
