We trek in to Stevens Camp at Warroora Station for our longest stay off grid since we started living on the road.
Jed has has some issues with tying knots on his speargun but manages to come through with his first blood but has no luck while trying to get us some squid.
We did a little day trip from the southern most camp spot on the station, back up to where we were camped and will head north for a look up there in the next episode.
A successful sunset beach fishing mission (with the new Tackel It rod holder of course) fills the freezer with fish again, right as we were about to run out!

We'll definitely be back there soon, yeah is crazy how you can be so close to running out of food then within 10 minutes you have the rest of the weeks tucka sorted!

Nice catch. The next time you catch a half decent fish. Fillet it. The fry The frame on the grill. Coat with a little oil and salt. You'll be pleasantly surprised how much meat is on the bone. Remember to remove the guts. Tasty feed the frames. Great vids by the way. Cheerz 🍺

Cheers Rob! Yeah mate we bake decent frames/heads regularly and then we use the meat to make fish cakes (add mash potato, egg, breadcrumbs, salt n pepper) they turn out amazing! Cheer mate much appreciated 👍 . I'll try your technique on the grill next time, cheers!!

Spango !!!! Two top fish Jed well done. How was that sunset on the beach when you were filleting the two fish... Spectacular!!! Looks like a really awesome spot. Is an 18'6" caravan going to get into that camp behing the dunes it looks like a mint spot to camp. Sunset in the dunes would be awesome I reckon... sunset🌅..... beer🍻... fish🐟.. and a couple of tunes🎶. Spot on !!

Hey there Simo, yeah mate if you got a decent 4wd and your van has a bit of clearance you'll be right. Few big vans came down while we were there but they had v8's to get em back up the hill. Premo spot 👌 Sunsets, Beers and wet line is what life is all about hey mate 👍

Great episode as per usual Jed and Kelly. Great to see the rod holder getting a good work out.. Fish up grades.. lol.. If you like cheiviche the travelly are good that way or sushimi.. I was cutting up some kangaroo meat today and thought shit Oldmates adventures on tonight. Great to see some pc's too.. Have a great week both of you. Til the next one champ cheers...

Yeah mate was great to put the rod holder to use! Absolutely love it, great design and well built bit of kit. Yeah will have to get some limes and try that, I hear it's premo 👌. Bought a little smoker so will have to try that out also! Oh Roo back straps?! Makes the best jerky!! 🤤 Thanks mate 👍

@@bryanpaynechefbrybry1067 arr mate that would be unreal, my sister and husband have a property along the river in Pinni down past the tavern, lovely spot! Get many Pigs in winter? We are tee'd up for the Williams fox shoot in January. Have a couple of properties out in Arthur River. The owner sent me photos the other day and they have pigs out that way now too.

Hey Jed, hit me up re fixing your spearfishing diving kit - I may just know a bloke who could help you out. Actually, Kel you better hit me up, pretty sure you are more likely to catch a fish 😍😁🤣🤣 Sorry Jed, I couldn't help myself. Re the squid, I have never seen nor caught them in a surf zone, have you ? I have always found them or seen them in less disturbed / still water zones. 11:20 winning, Dart are great chew! Then I heard you say something about Golden trevally - Jed Golden Trevers are amazing on the tooth - get them them on the straight hook asap!! 13:00 what camera are you using with the over head mic? 18:20 Bludger Trev, they are pretty good chew as well, they are way better than 3 stars just saying when fresh and cooked up! Time to get kel out fishing, there is clearly good fish to be had! The butter fish are baits of champions! 20:10, did you steal Kels fish?? 🤣🤣That was a belter of a fish, Top shelf! Yeah camera shaddow fail there...my bad. It's just a hero 10 with the gopro media mod. Great bit of kit, blocks out alot of wind noise, though it's not super water proof. Wind noise is one of our biggest challenges we have to get around but at least the wind sometimes blocks out me talking shit! 😄 Cheers mate we both enjoy and always look forward to your video reviews!! 🙌

Love the big spango off the beach. What a ripper! How was the trevally? I tried a golden trevally up in Exmouth recently and it was tasty as. Love the vids mate. Keep at it 🍻.

Great watching your videos , looking forward to seeing more of your travels . just asking what do you think of the MRT canopy . I have a BT50 and want a ali canopy set up similar to yours , would you change anything in your setup. Cheers

Hey there Geoff, cheers mate👍. Yeah this is the 2nd MRT i've had and both have been good for the price you pay. With my canopy I almost wish I didn't have the rear door as I don't use it and would rather have the option to mount stuff to it. Also I highly recommend getting the internal extra support welded in (they can do that in the MRT workshop). Ladder rack I got added on also and is obviously handy if your going to mount stuff up top. Maybe not so handy if you have a roof top tent. I also would of paid the extra coin for the under tray drawers. But it's another $1000 at the time I didn't think was worth it. Hope that helps mate👍

Hey mate, I just used a Paternoster rig with a star sinker for the sand, think they were 3/0 hooks. Cheers mate👍

Is the fishing spot next to the campground or far away? What campground is that at??

Stevens Camp mate (in the title of the video also) 👍, can beach fish out in front of camp also. Just have to be aware of the fishing sanctuary's in the area.
