It is better but unfortunately, standard ICAO phraseology is poorly used. Example, we don t say ready to go to a tower but holding point rwy xx ready for departure.

"Captain Mindy" is officially hooked, Steveo. Not only has she enjoyed the blue waters of the Bahamian islands, but you brought her along to Sun & Fun too! Nevermind her starting her own VLOG. I see her totally thrilling prospective aircraft owners to jump into a Cessna/Baron/Bonanza and see the thrill of flying in and out of Florida and the adjacent islands.

You had one of the best Co-Pilot's in the business handling the radio. She responded to every call without hesitation. I hope both of you had a great time at Sun N' Fun. I saw several videos and it looked like a great event for a pilot to attend.I am still in love with the Cirrus Vision Jet. It just looks so cool and single pilot operated!

Been to Sun n Fun many times. My favorite part was always seeing Bob Hoover there. Legendary pilot. He'd be scary in a Kodiak or TBM. =)

Pilot KZfaq is one of the best KZfaqs. Flying through the clouds in HD, are you kidding me? I dont know anything about aviation but this is fun, that plane looks really good, plus, Mindy's radio work is accidental ASMR. Hopefully this will get more young people interested in flying. Cheers.

Nice flight up to the Sun n Fun, although those storms could have waited for another day. And it's a good thing you got in there early, as later it gets absolutely crazy flying into it, with planes spaced out like cars on the freeway! And for GA, landing on taxiways with sharp turns into the downwind..but it's always a great time there, even if I did miss this yrs. show. Capt. Mindy is a great rep for them, and she will do well if she does start her own channel. Starting to fall for those Kodiaks, as everything I hear about them is positive, and got to love that roominess.

Another excellent video, the quality of these keep getting better Steveo. If we can't see Caravan flights in the Bahamas any more, flying with Mindy in the Kodiak throughout southern Florida is a great substitute. Fun plane and cool lady.

I love old flight attendents who work past retirement. I was on a puddle jumper around Louisville and as we are going through a rough patch she tells us not to worry. That we are heading toward calm. Then she straps into her diagonal seat behind me and I could hear her say to herself “ yeah, wait till they see what’s coming up next”. WORST turbulence in my life. I still have to laugh.

Well, that was a nice relaxed approach and landing at Sun N Fun. You must have been an early arrival. It’s been years, but I flew into Arlington a few times during peak times on Saturday morning. There is No talking on the radio. Too much traffic for that. Fly to a big fire they have going a few miles from the airport, fly a certain heading from there and enter on a normal 45 to the pattern. Tower identifies aircraft as White Cessna, Red Piper and so on. Follow their instructions, no talking. It is quite the experience. At the time Arlington was the 3rd largest in the country behind Oshkosh and Sun N Fun. We always pitched a tent next to the aircraft along with thousands of others doing the same.
