Steve Treviño adds to his comic reputation as "America's favorite husband" through his fifth stand-up special, I Speak Wife. As the title suggests, Treviño gives an honest take on the day-to-day joy of marriage and living with your best friend, even though she can't make tamales and wrecked your favorite truck. He juggles dealing with the kid, being his wife's Instagram photographer, and getting blamed for giving his fathers-in-law a bad gummy bear.

I love this video. My wife passed in 2016 and I remember being married and how funny marriage was for me. It's been years since I have laughed or had a good time. I watch funny KZfaq videos to get some enjoyment. My wife made me a better person. I never even thought of marriage until I met my wife. She was the one that stuck around. Lol. To all the married couples, say "I love you" to each other every day. You never know when it will be the last time you say that. On May 13th, 2016 was the last day we told each other " I love you." My wife went to the hospital the next day and she died May 17th at 245. The saddest day of my entire life.😢 Steve your video today brought back some precious memories. Today would have been my wife's 40th bday. I miss and love you very much Jennifer!

This is beautiful and made me cry. It also motivates me as a soon to be physician as I was a fire fighter paramedic and very much enjoyed it and patients but knew I needed to further myself. In less than 2 years my rotations will be complete and I will be an ER or Critical Care physician. Now idk what happened to your wife so quickly, I am curious but this is your choice to share or ,message, but I just feel terrible for you. This really made me cry as I watched the entire thing and loved it! Can you tell me more on how you are doing and feeling?

Sorry for your loss. I just visited my grandmother who has been without her husband for a decade now. She's 80. I can't imagine building a life around a person just to lose them 50 years later 😢 but I guess it is better to have loved than to have never have loved at all. The pain though...I just can't imagine having to learn to live with that pain 💔

I'm in Mexico with my hubby I've been here for 16 years. Just to get his papers so he can be in the USA legally. I must say that it has definitely been an honor and a privilege to be here in Mexico. I have learned the Spanish language and learned alot of the culture. I have learned the most important thing tho, and that is to love a people I initially misunderstood and was a bit hateful towards. Then one day early in my stay in Mexico, I was so frustrated and full of bad emotion and stuff that was surfacing in me as a "superior American." I got into a taxi and went across the border to USA my country just to hear my English language. Only one person I found believe it or not it was a man handing out flyers. He noticed my face full of bad everything and asked me if was ok? So we took a seat on the sidewalk and I began to tell him my frustration and concerns of my "plight." The man listened to me and then he said the one truth I needed to hear, understand and accept. He said, "if your going to remain in Mexico with your husband until you guys get his papers, then you are going to have to do one of two things, your either going to hate these people or your going to love these people." Hence' my stay in Mexico began to change for the better as I learned to be remorseful for being prejudice and hateful towards the Mexican people. I began to embrace my journey thru many many humbling humiliating experiences I needed to go thru to realize that NOBODY ON THIS EARTH IS BETTER THAN ANYONE ELSE. 🎉🎉🎉🎉 ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

@@niraxlevi9930 I feel love is very deep. It grows and very hard to explain. Only those in love know. Sometimes some fights are because you love each other. It is different from seduction and desire to be laid or sex. Those in love want good things for each other but with different approaches, hence the complication and need for open communication. It is work but when done by those who are keen to listen, it turns out a great thing.

I just freaking love this man. He’s a brilliant and very relatable comic(although I’m the wife:). However, my fave thing about him, is he’s proud of his roots and proud to be an American both! He also appreciates everything he has that he’s earned himself, while at the same time, remembering those who fought so we could have the things we do. He’s just great! I do just want to say one thing though…I am a 40 yr old stay at home wife/mom of 3 and I have a husband who works hard to provide. Yet, he works in an office and my a$$ is the one who does most of the physical labor around our home. I do most of the yard work over the years and the pressure washing, furniture assembly, garage cleaning and the painting, etc…etc… See, my husband is a boss at his job so he comes home and delegates what he wants me to do like he does his employ at the office. Then, he stands around and inspects my work. Sometimes, I get a, “Looks good.” Other times, he tells me how to do it the way he thinks I should. So I tell him to do it himself then! In that way, I also relate to Steve! I’m the one busting my butt because my husband works. I just do EVERYTHING else. 😂

What’s great show and really funny and proud American. I’ve (excuse me, we’ve been married) 49 years. Steve encapsulated in one hour of wife speak what it’s taken me all these years to learn. 😂 Also, I’m a proud grandson of Mexican immigrants and proud American. Born and raised in Texas.
