Jade Prout I'm a musician and have at least a small amount of understanding about others music. Have you heard Anthony's description of Jazz? Its pure ignorance, or what he says about Lou Reed after admitting he only knows two of his songs? The guy comes across as one of those assholes that listens to radio hits and then talks like he has a worthwhile opinion on genres he knows zero about.

St. Stephen is one of my favorite songs. Not even a big fan of the Dead. But that original studio recording is so good in my own worthless opinion. That being said, funny hearing them trash it. It really does start out sounding like you're at a Ren Faire.

Around 2:50 or so they are talking about football and the winningest quarterback ever. I know Ant and Jim agree that Terry Bradshaw won four, and Joe Montana three, as well as three for Aikman. However, when Opie says "How many's Brady got?" And I heard, "Only two." Wow. Mind blown. I love O & A, and these little nuggets from the past really hit you sometimes.

@Matthew Barry jimmy messed that one up because they were going through 80s super bowl wins where montana had 3 (the last being 1990) and when he was going through super bowl winning qbs he mentioned montana as having 3. It's interesting looking at steve young's career in that a player who ended up being one of the best ever was complete dogshit his first two years in the league and was willing to sit on the bench another 4 seasons after that

Lips Like Sugar by Echo & The Bunnymen, off their 1987 self-titled album. They’re a fucking awesome band and one of the best of the ‘80s imho. Albums like their self-titled, Heaven Up Here, Porcupine, Crocodiles, and Ocean Rain are straight up classics. Definitely check ‘em out if you ever get the chance.

I would bet $1,000 Opie was not able to guess the correct team, and you can hear it in his voice when both Anthony and Jim both get it. I mean Anthony, who could care less about sports, knows it, and it just drives Opie crazy. Nonetheless, as much as I dislike what's become of Opie, these clips are gold, and I will listen to them forever. When Jim Norton was added was the best show on the radio and unfortunately something we will never see again or hear again :(

One of the things I hated about the Roseanne sitcom was that she was such a goddamn Deadhead that she named her character's fourth kid after Jerry Garcia. Then he died in 1995 and they had him appear from "beyond the grave" to say some "inspirational" bullshit in one episode. That was so stupid and unnecessary!
