@@martanicgomez3232well, with Kurt I truly believe it was a collaboration with several people like Kortney, certain record executives and even Dave G. They all benefited very well from Album sells, and the insurances taken out on him and the band. Insurance like, his face, his hands, his body, the band continuing, you name it. I bet the insurance itself paid out like 10-20 million alone.

The day that Stevie Ray passed I was running an open mic at a local club. I spent the day calling every guitar player I knew in town and that night we kicked out the jam in his name. I can't believe what a wonderful guy he was. Thoughtful, humble, and at the end of his life sober. He died sober and for recovering alcoholics that's very very important. His membership in AA and his sobriety is perhaps just as important as his success as a musician, maybe even more so because alcoholics and drug addicts the end is either institutionalization, prison, or death. And Stevie Ray Vaughan proved that AA in the 12 steps can renew life.

@mack1979 oh I'm sure there are plenty of scholars that would say that jesus exists, because most are of the Christian faith, but other scholars in support of the Jesus Myth theory can be found in the writings of Richard Carrier and Robert Price and David Fitzgerald, the author of : "Ten Christian Myths That Show Jesus Never Existed at All." Even Bart Ehrman ( a well-known Biblical scholar) said: *No first century secular evidence whatsoever exists to support the actuality of Yeshua ben Yosef.* "What sorts of things do pagan authors from the time of Jesus have to say about him? Nothing. As odd as it may seem, there is no mention of Jesus at all by any of his pagan contemporaries. There are no birth records, no trial transcripts, no death certificates; there are no expressions of interest, no heated slanders, no passing references - nothing. In fact, if we broaden our field of concern to the years after his death - even if we include the entire first century of the Common Era - there is not so much as a solitary reference to Jesus in any non-Christian, non-Jewish source of any kind. I should stress that we do have a large number of documents from the time - the writings of poets, philosophers, historians, scientists, and government officials, for example, not to mention the large collection of surviving inscriptions on stone and private letters and legal documents on papyrus. In none of this vast array of surviving writings is Jesus' name ever so much as mentioned."

Look into Mike Jefferies, Jimi's manager and a real dirtball (mob ties) Jimi was set to fire him. Jefferies had a large life insurance policy on Jimi. Take it from there. The one indisputable fact (even from the coroner's report was that Hendrix did not overdose. He drowned in wine. Jii was murdered. The question is by whom. Most researchers believe it was Jefferies and some thugs. If there is a Hell, Jefferies is there. Clearly SRV believed Hendrix was killed by the gov. But the simplest explanation is usually the best. Gov. killers would have done a less sloppy job.

I loved seeing this! A chance to hear one of my most favorite musicians, and his honest, well spoken, and humble words, with no big ego, and as real as it gets. I remember seeing SRV at a very uncrowded Santa Cruz Civic Theater in Northern California, in 1986. It was right before the career of SRV was about to really take off, so there were only about maybe 300 people, and seats that were not yet taken. As he came out on stage, people on the floor in front of the stage were cheering and began moving up closer, while he energized the crowd of fans by opening with the song "Scuttle Buttin'." I said to my friends, "the heck with these seats! I'm going down there!" I had this now-or-never, feeling, like if I didn't go down now, I would soon not be able to, and I'd definitely regret it, so I found my way toward the front of the stage about 3 rows back, I then looked up, and there he was, SRV, about 12-15 ft from me, and I could see him perfectly! I remember feeling so lucky and in disbelief, that this venue wasn't more packed with people, and I remembered thinking, this is so crazy! I'd never been that close to the stage at any concert. I watched him play song after song, and so in awe that I could see him so well; the strings on his guitar, the sweat on his nose, the expressions on his face. After a while, he took a very short break for only a few minutes, and people were still cheering. He came back on stage wearing a big, red,white and blue American Indian headdress, and motioned to get the crowd's attention. He began to speak to us in a very moving and personal way, as if he were among friends, which I believe he was, because everyone was fully listening. He then began to speak about substance abuse, and its effect on a person's life, and the importance of being present for all the people places and things that matter. His sincerity was so genuine and heart warming. Some people had tears in their eyes. He finished by saying he loved music and seeing people enjoying what he played, more than the feeling he got from being intoxicated, and how none of us would be there right now, if he hadn't made the decision to put what he loved and the people that mattered to him first. He encouraged us to be good to one another, and to live a life without regrets. He said his next song was about everything he just said to us. (I have been unable to find that song anywhere and can only conclude that it was one not widely known or shared), . People then began to cheer, and you could feel nothing but love and respect in the air around us all, as he played for about another hour or so. At times I was fixated on what grace and humility he possessed, as he continued to so captivatingly speak to us all throught the strings on his guitar. I'd never seen such raw talent by a musician in my lifetime. He was not only distinctly gifted, but a gift to anyone being fortunate enough to be in his company, and it was unmistakable. It was one of the best shows I'd ever been to, and I remember it like it was yesterday. Who could ever forget such an amazing experience with such an outstanding individual? No one. As heartbroken as I was about never again being able to witness Stevie's awesome presence and emanating talent, I'm so glad and truly grateful for having seen it at all, and in the best possible way. Thanks so much for posting this video. It Just reminded me of how much I miss his being alive and the experience I had so long ago that lives in me to this day. It was just so unimaginably cool. @@stuartewoldt1513 I think it was more about the business side of things aka Michael Jeffery and them cocked folks he was dealing with. I don’t think any other musicians actually feared him by any means other than knowing he banged all their women behind their backs lol

@@ALLfemalesLiecheatnstealRIGHT! That's exactly what I was just beginning to think... What did SRV really know about JH's death AND just who was SRV referring to? Who gave Jimi "some help"?

Ok, then I want to pick your brain about what you might think the subtext is? I mean, Jimi and Stevie... both died young, blues influences, and stylistically...they could've had their luggage switched, and they might notve noticed for a good week, feel me? So, if SRV says "Jimi scared too many people" he might know something. But is it about his musicianship,or something else?

SRV was a very humble man and I feel very fortunate that I was able to meet him, Chris Layton, Tommy Shannon and Reese Wynans on their In Step tour in 1989. That night in Alpine Valley was a huge loss for the Blues world.

My birthday 2014 I am standing in line at the park in San Francisco blues concert. The guy in front of me were all in line for the blue room and he’s got this SRV shirt on with dates and places and I said did you get to catch any of his dates And he turned around and he put his head down and he cried and he said yeah and then of course I start crying. I never got to see him. He was supposed to be around my side of town three months but then the helicopter crash I still got a lump in my throat, I enjoyed him in the day and I enjoyed him still today ❤

@@EmatchedNo, Hendrix was murdered by some bad people that wanted his money. The leading and most plausible thory is that he was tied up and drowned by pouring wine down his throat. How else would they find wine in his lungs during an autopsy? And don't even say "because he was drunk and died in his sleep puking." My friend died the same way after a drunken night of partying. He took pills that he already knew made him vomit, but he loved the buzz they provided and obviously wasn't thinking rationally because he was drunk. There was no alcohol in his lungs because that doesn't happen from puking.
@Ematched
@Ematched 8 ай бұрын
@@lobotomyscam1051 if you puke lying on your back then inhale as you gasp for breath, you can get alcohol in your lungs. Again, you’ve provided no evidence someone killed him. Cool story about your friend, though. Sounds like an awesome guy.

There are four guitar players that amaze me, and all for the same reason. Stevie Ray Vaughan and Jimi Hendrix, of course. The other two are Carlos Santana and B.B. King. All four of them sang their souls out through their guitars. Whenever you see them play, you never see then watching their hands or the instrument: you see their bodies and faces moving with a power that can only be described as their very souls. While, tragically, only Santana remains of the four, I have no doubt that as long as there are guitars, there will be those few musicians whose souls we see in their playing.

@@miamibeachsunnydays8274The theory is that Jimi's ex manager, Mike Jeffery (who by all accounts was shady af) killed him. I think the 'scared' bit w/ due to Jimi starting to hang around people who were more concerned for Jimi's interests and Jeffery being exposed for how controlling and exploitative he was with Jimi's IP and assets. Another variation of the theory makes reference to life insurance fraud also being a motivator.
