There was never a beef. Em took a tiny jab at NF, but NF said he still thinks Em is one of the best. He's his main influence, and he would never go at him. and DJ Akademiks, downplaying and talking shit about another white rapper. Starting to see a pattern here. NF wasn't just at the top for a week, he topped every chart with The Search. Edit: Yeah this was clickbait as fuck, what celebrities??

@@LitPenguin713 I understand where you comin from. There's an obvious influence in his style. But if u actually listens to his music,he's got this discreet difference between eminem. He didn't copy his style. Trust me,I thought that and disliked him. But,when u listen to his songs, his messages, deliveries, and different approach. His symbolism is different compared to em. The obvious similarities are things new listeners only see like his cadence, his tone, and some of his flows. He got a different style with a strong influence of em,but not copying. he didn't diss NF and it was more like a compliment or showing that em acknowledges NF. em is answering people who compare NF to himself and anyway it's more like a compliment as i see he called him his "recovery clone" and recovery was one of em's successful albums, content aside. so yeah he wasn't dissing him and em rarely or never goes for sub diss anyway.and NF didn't diss em as well he himself says that he has no problem with em. and also eminem said "NFing" cause NF doesn't swear in his raps(genius move by em).

Heres how i interpret Ems line.. especially knowing how hes made a home in words. He doest call NF a copy, wannabe, in his shadow etc... he says “clone”... the difference being “clone” means exactly the same. Same level, (at least in respect to his age).. clone means DNA.. made from the same literal matter like his own daughter. And the fact he he never expands on that line “nfing” by slamming him with nasty words mocking him to tear him down.. i see it as respect. Im sure eminems clearly very aware of Nates capabilities and vulnerabilities.. i mean, thats his career. Sharing his pain.. easy target to get mocked and destroyed. But again, em said “clone”.. and thats not a normal way to say a wannabe etc as hes addressed others before. I absoluteky see it as an acknowledgemet. A nod, so to speak. 💋 If i was a rapper, id be humbled to be called the CLONE of the greatest by the greatest himself.. just my opinion as a major fan of both growing up.

I agree he took a jab, and I think it just shows a little ignorance on Em’s part. I think how you say a lot of OGs bucket Em with “My Name Is”, Em’s understanding of NF might be pigeonholed to the more emotional stuff. Honestly, it’s his loss if that’s the case, being a hip hop head. Idk how Em can promote Hopsin but not NF - the influence is obvious in both, and both have done magic with it.

Nah bro,Me personally I listen to both NF and Eminem on a daily basis and what I got from that whole "NFing recovery clone of me" is that Eminem stated that since NF is using music to recover from his mental conditions and Eminems recovery is basically recovering from drugs and also mental condition,He mentioned NF because they both white and people expect him to make music similar to NF and not the music he usually do coz they too damn sensitive so I believe that people misunderstood that whole thing and the fans made up the beef

What Roman Atwood said is so true! My son is 4 and I love still being able to play NF in the car with him. My song sings to Just Like You whenever it comes on.

It’s crazy to compare Eminem and NF. They’re both white rappers from Michigan...that’s where the similarities begin and end. They have different content, different sound and different lifestyles and experiences. Knowing Em he probably did take a shot at NF on the Ringer. But he’s gotta hate that every single white rapper that comes out gets compared to him. Absolutely nobody is like Eminem - white OR black.

Maybe it was more a shot at the people who think they are alike, however I will say this Em was criticized for yelling a lot in recovery so that’s why he calls nf a recovery clone of him bc of the yelling

I used to be a Stan, however, when he went political, I changed from a Stan to someone that appreciates his work and his skill, but he lost what made him truly different back in the 90s 00s, he tried to walk the political line til cancel culture turned on him... NF is his own person and has actually been "real" from day one in his music about who he is, NF was inspired by EM and it's sad to see him throw shade
