Removing what you relate to, or what you think “bumps” the best and more importantly what you GREW UP with (which is usually what sticks the most even subconsciously) and analyze not only Eminem’s music but any song on its merits. I raised myself most of my childhood. And after one of my teachers played No Love by Eminem when I was around 11 or 12, I got instantly hooked. It was incredible. I was bullied a lot and he is the reason why I am here. So I did feel it when Joe said that the Stans would stop the world for Em. Hell yeah we would. He inspires! And it was through Em that I discovered the others. Sure I'm a bit biased because of my situation, but everyone with a deep connection to any artist will have a biase.
