Covering a plywood panel

4 жыл бұрынIn this video Marty Feehan describes the process for fabric covering a plywood panel. We often get questions about how to cover wood airplanes since it is not specifically discussed in any detail in the manual. Covering a skeleton airframe with open bays is really no different if it's wood or metal. Wood airplanes often have areas fully sheeted with plywood, and that does have somewhat of a unique technique, so we created a video to elaborate on that. Enjoy! What fabric do you guys use with your system?

You can use any certified fabric. We normally use Superflite. You can use Ceconite or Polyfiber 102 or 104 also, but we do not recommend Ceconite or Polyfiber 101. It's very tight and hard to get Ekobond to penetrate it well. Superflite 101 does fine.
