I can't be healed.. my mother commit suicide and tbh not saying good bye to a parent can do things to a man that many will never come to understand. Stick figure just helps numb that pain but I can never ever be healed

I'd argue he is changing. Evolving. Improving. I liked Smoke Stack. Loved Burial Ground. Then I found Set in Stone and didn't think any modern reggae album could touch it. I recently got into Stick Figure. My ex-wife, who is still one of my best friends introduced me to them. I am hooked!!! What is more shocking is my 70-year-old father who stopped listening to anything new in the 70s is a fan! You know you are doing something good when you can convert a grump old man.

Everytime I hear this song, it reminds me of my dog who sadly died on Christmas Day of 2019. Never felt pain like that before. It cuts deep knowing that your best friend is gone. Listening to your songs was one of the ways to accept the reality that he's gone. But I'm grateful that I still see him in my dreams almost every night. Proud to be his owner.

Recently put mine of nearly 10 years down so I feel your pain bro, he was the father to a pup we have and now the baby is the only one left and everytime I look at him I see the older dog whose gone now so it's been difficult and music always gets me thru it. My husband would listen to this song every single day to and from work, giving him the motivation to get up as early as he did and work as hard as he does. He told me he did it all for me. I still can’t listen to this song without crying and it’s been four years since he told me. Over 10 years together total. ❤ I always dreamed what song would be “our song” as a little girl, imagining life with my future husband. Who knew it would be all be so beautiful.

My son died on Father's day 2018. He was a month and a half old. Cherish your children. I'm happy others get to enjoy theirs and get to watch them grow. Nothing I want more than to get him back. I hope other people appreciate it that much more. Sorry fir hitting you with this the way I did. It just helps me to talk about it. I picture what he would look like and his personality. This song will forever hold a special place in my heart. I was listening to it when I pulled into my driveway on a chilly late afternoon in October 2021. Driving in, I noticed my 22 pound, 10 year old Tuxedo cat "Hugo" was going into convulsions under the willow tree he had basked in the sunlight under since he was a wee cub. He looked at me with his big, beautiful yellow eyes, let out an enormous guttural yell, and passed. I choke up every time I hear the first 45 seconds of this song. Honestly, thank you. I just discovered stick figure. Going through a separation thats going to lead to a divorce. Thankfully i found this band. Its definitely helping to ease some of the pains i am feeling. As a single dad of 5 insane hellians that stress me the f@&k out everyday its good to know i can escape my thoughts and stress for a couple minutes.

Sometimes, you believe you are headed someplace only to find yourself suddenly lost. Staying lost is merely the panic of not letting go. Take the opportunity to wander. To aimlessly journey in the wilderness of your travels. In giving yourself the space to be lost, perhaps you may find not only yourself and your heading, but something more. Still, being lost and knowing your way is only a matter of perspective. This song gave me clarity of what I was holding onto so tightly. And letting go has let me move freely, like the wind.

found this song around the time I was making a huge transition in my life. things went "off plan" due to Covid. but instead of freaking out: I have shelter, I have food, and people that care. Stick figure is the best, there is no where you can find something that comes anywhere close to this, even I can tell my animals love stick figure, I had a bird I rescued that would even sing along and that was one of the most beautiful moments of my life, I put much time into that bird and loved her very much, stick figure has gotten me through some rough storms and helped me relax and feel good, motivated and remember the inner strength inside of me, this is the kind of music to bring out the best in people no matter what the circumstances are

My first night home, I was laying in my bed, Not able to move a muscle, (Orbital fractures/broken jaw) + A GSW (gun shot wound) to the abdominal area **was in the middle of armed robbery of a family dollar, working as a armed securityofficer, shot with own firearm** I remember laying in my bed helpless from pain, while this song came on. Changing the vibe in the room, while I could tell my dad was full of anxiety, seeing my face blown up like a balloon, and seeing his son helpless. This song has and still help sus. Thank you to anyone reading this story. And stay strong through whatever your going through. I did it all for my family.
