Lotsa metal heads into this stuff I guess lol. The 2 scenes are essentially the same, just different tunes. Same thing with hc, punk etc. I love it! Check out Higher Vibration I think is the band. 3 metal guys turned reggaeish kinda stuff. They remind me of the expendables

I think Reggae is rock. It is on the rock spectrum, metal being the hardest and reggae the softest. Some of the greatest guitarists I've ever heard are reggae artists, Scott being one of them. Eric Rachmany is another one.

My dad died of pancreatic cancer 42 days ago at 65. I remember he was so weak coming from chemo and we were driving in silence and he barely could lift his hand and he did to turn up stick figure. We drove and all was good for a bit. Thank you

This song holds a special place in my heart. My daughter is learning piano, and she can play by ear. I asked her if she could play the keyboard piece towards the end of the song. She accepted the challenge. She listened to that part over and over until she figured it out. Sometimes my eyes get a little moist when hear that part.

Found stick figure 3 years ago when I was addicted to drugs and lost my kids. Where other music exacerbated my depression, stick figure helped pull me out of it. My husband suffered through the trenches with depression and this band I know for a fact kept him afloat. I remember hearing this song while he was playing it and just wishing he knew these lyrics I felt were meant for our situation. I just discovered Stick Figure last week while on vacation in Oklahoma! (Sounds like a song to me.) Have been listening to all their albums non-stop since then. I couldn't find a bad track. Their sound is soothing, calming, inspiring, energetic, enlightening, empathetic, reassuring, and much more, all at the same time. Really, their songs are what YOU need them to be. I just came off a three-month Gregorian Chant spree, so Stick Figure is exactly what I needed for spring. I was born in 1961, so I came up on some great music of all genres, from Big Band, Motown, many varieties of Country, The Carpenters, Yanni, Enya, Post Malone, Hauser, I dig me some Uncle Kracker, Classical, Ella, Nat King Cole, Show Tunes, a soupçon of Metal and Rap, of course Reggae, and I lived thru Disco. Not too much my ears don't appreciate. What a treat for my niece to turn me on to Stick Figure while sharing a doobie in the Plaza district of OKC. This is somehow the music I need to help me transition into my sixties, finally finding myself, but unable to understand the new world order. I'll be grooving on Stick Figure for a long time. This is my Hawaii song. I can remember standing on the crest of a mountain ridge in a tropical rain forest, as the clouds flowed around me and down the mountainside. Delicate orchids bloomed among the ferns, as the mist gradually became a sweet, fragrant rain. I lived on the island of Oahu for several years. This song actually changed my life. I was not getting along with my parents very well, and decided I needed to change something in my life and I’ve always loved Stick Figure, the one and only band I’ve seen in concert so far in my life. (Best live performance I’ve ever seen) I was listening to this song when I decided to move to Colorado and spend 6 months working in Aspen at the skiing company, it was the best 6 months I’ve ever lived so far in my life. I met some amazing people and made lifelong friends, and did way to much skiing. Now I’m back in Minnesota and my relationship is better than ever with my parents, and it’s all because of this song.

Thank you for all of your music - and for this video. I lost a close friend last summer as he was boating off the east coast. This song has helped me process that grief while digging back into my own love of - and time spent on - the ocean growing up.

This song reminds me of Humboldt county and Eureka, California. I live in sacramento. I’m a truck driver and I used to drive up to Humboldt for work for 7 years. Took a trip to Hawaii and rented a convertible. As I drove along a beautiful road with the top down, ocean to my left and mountains on my right this song came on the radio. I immediately felt like I was dreaming it was so perfect. This was one of those moments when you know you're exactly where you're supposed to be. I was never a big fan of this type of music until I heard this song. I listened to other Stick Figure songs and I like Old Sunrise and Once In a Lifetime just as much as this one. You did a great job on the video, it reminds me of Hawaii. Your music is very special and filled with magic. I'm very curious if you can continue to impress me with new songs in the future. The songs I mentioned here are going to be extremely hard to top. Thank you for the amazing experience I had when I first heard this song. It was definitely one of those moments I'll never forget and you are part of it.

I got the call and I instantly started streaming my pandora radio…music is the way I cope. I wanted a sign from Hack. And this song is what he blessed me with. *EDIT* Holy shiteballs. This song was released August 11 2022 and Hack passed August 16 2022. OmWow. I don’t know that until rn.

One of my absolute favorites. It takes me back to growing up in Virginia Beach and seeing Stick Figure play at the oceanfront and the pure joy being by the beach brings. Killer job ❤ I play it on repeat and the country boys at work are starting to dig it
