In this video, I take an in depth look at the Stihl RM 655 RS.
As you will see in the video, this machine performs beautifully in the wet! It’s ability to collect wet grass is second to none! The split rear roller leaves a beaut finish - at the same time making the machine easy to manoeuvre. An outstanding machine! Be good to see how it is after a year. Bagging etc. The fact the handle folds down with a strong mechanism is great. Plastic box is a winner. Hayter need to do that. Not a fan of the handles being the wrong way round through. New subscriber

Great mower, I've got three of these, shame you can't adjust the drive cable like you can on the smaller models.

I don’t think there is an option to mulch with this mower.

I’ve been looking at these, I just want a mower that cuts in the wet. I’m just torn between John Deer and Sthil as Hayters now have gone down hill with plastic rollers and cheaper engines.

The RM 655 RS is absolutely fantastic in wet conditions. It is a well built quality bit of kit. Would highly recommend checking one out at your local dealer

Have you used the big Hondas (HRD536QX) ? How does it compare? I like your house BTW, my rates are obviously not high enough!

Dickie Senior I have used many brands over the years. I can honestly say that this has been the best mower I have used in the wet - I collects beautifully in all weathers. If you watch my video on winning the lawn competition, you will see that it is a very manoeuvrable machine, that leaves a fantastic finish. Fantastic machine - very happy with it.

Mine was a bit slow and only cuts on no 2 setting-too high for weekly cutting The plastic Handel to start blade broke and isn’t made to last Why do they make such rubbish
