There will are two versions of the Stiletto TiBone 3 hammer; one with a milled steel face (TB3MC), and one with a smooth steel face (TB3SC). They’re both 17-1/2” long and feature curved handles.
The TiBone 3 hammers use titanium construction with low recoil and less weight over comparable steel hammers. In fact, these hammers weigh 45% less than a steel hammer and hit like a 28-ounce framer.
What’s New?
The Stilette TiBone 3 hammer was upgraded with a newly designed anti-rotational striking face and redesigned, stronger magnetic nailset.
New Anti-Rotational Striking Face
The Stiletto TiBone 3 hammer face upgrade will prevent the steel striking face from shifting or loosening.
New Nailset Magnet
The new nailset includes a more robust magnet to hold nails more securely than before. The improved magnet on the Stiletto TiBone 3 works well, and keeps a tight grip on the nail until impact, and embeds the nail nicely.

Let’s Talk Cost
At $229.00 the Stiletto TiBone 3 price isn’t crazy considering this hammer is made in the U.S.A with premium titanium metal. This is a hammer is designed for framers swinging it all day. If you’re in this category you need to ask yourself - how much is your elbow worth to you if you’re swinging a hammer daily?
If you ask me a hammer like the TiBone 3 is a a carpenters dream!! You get what you pay for… Titanium hammers offer excellent vibration dampening, and the lighter weight metal translates to easier swings with less fatigue and impact on the nerves and tendons in the arm.
Performance - feel for yourself
The true test to appreciate the Stiletto TiBone 3 hammer vibration differences between titanium and a steel hammer is to strike them simultaneously on a concrete floor. You only have to do this once to see the benefits of titanium . This test is what sold my guys to start carrying and using Stiletto hammers.
Overall Thoughts
I’ve always like the Stiletto TiBone hammer. The straight claw design helps pull nails easily without marring your work and the side nail puller gives awesome nail pulling leverage.
What impressed me the most was how effortless this hammer is to swing. It is truly a quality tool that will save wear and tear on my wrist, elbows and shoulders from the abuse of swinging a heavier hammer. If you’re like me and are always looking to improve your performance, then this hammer is a tool you should check out.
My take away from the titanium vs. steel argument is that titanium’s primary ergonomic benefit is less recoil, with less fatigue being a secondary benefit.
After using this hammer for a while, I predict that you will see and feel a reduction in arm injury or pain caused by frequent heavy hammer use.
