whoops i did another anastasia animatic. yes i kind of overdid it with the snow lmao.
i tried to focus on emotion and lipsyncng (at some points) for this. although i did get lazy at the end.

I always get chills when I see the Tsar trying to protect Anya? He nearly lost her once, and even in death, he'd do anything to make sure it doesn't happen again. Just that whole part in general when her family surrounds her. O o f I'm getting emotional lmao. I love this so much though.

Well the real Anastasia died through they found her surpossed Bones and skeleton through the DNA and a Actress to the day says shes Anastasia some believe her some Not lol

I’m obsessed with this musical and this animatic, I loved the movie when I was little. Well, if they didn’t make Rasputin a wizard and let the story play out naturally, the movie would’ve been more strong.

i agree, too bad Rasputin isn't in the Broadway but not only in the movie that Rasputin is part of the Russian revolution but also some Russian people don't like the Czar and decide to take matters into their own hands to overthrow the Czar and start a new nation with a new government so the Broadway version makes more strong indeed of between Gleb and Anya/Anastasia see eye to eye both have dark pasts to bury.

There are a couple of slime tutorials on KZfaq. Just look up 'Anastasia the musical' or something along those lines. The one Marcos Floriano(?) posted has pretty good quality (if it hasn't been taken down that is-)

Whoa, I love this! So glad you included that bit at the end; I wish the cast recording included it. I love how well the dark lighting contrasts with her dress and how you put your own spin on the scene! The wind and snow really adds to it.

There are now 3 anastasia broadway animatics (that i know of) and 2/3 of them are FROM YOU!!!! I LOVE YOU!!!!!!!! I keep on searching anastasia animatic on youtube and when i see this I SCREAMED. I never managed to find still/neva flows reprise ANYWHERE on youtube, and when it finally exists, it's an ANIMATIC AND I'M SO HAPPY!!! Will you do in my dreams??? It's one of my fav out of all of broadway songs, just because of how so many different emotions are poured out. Even in the broadway stage, anastasia mostly only stands still with hand movements. But i just imagine the situation she's describing in an animation version, and it sent chills up and down my spine. I love your animatics so much pleaasee consider this plea of mine... although crowd of thousands is also a favorite of mine, so either way, i will still be eternally grateful

when i think Anya/Anastasia said to him "I mean you no harm." it looks like she wouldn't be a threat to him and them the non-royal people of Russia all they had wanted to make a better fair government for the country than it has been in dark times without a voice for rights of the citizens of Russia and man this such as dang heck as so far in this video as well.

I like your interpretation of the scene a little more than what was on the stage. At least when I saw It, Anya ended up facing away from him after falling to the ground for most of the song. It felt a little to Chritine Daae for the character they were setting up (no hate on Christine, but like, she's a bit more scared than Anastasia I'd say).
