Sting could decide to just sit at ringside being a match timekeeper and he'd be contributing more than we deserve. I really hope he does something where we could still see him around.

2 words "Talent Development". Look at ANY interview where sting is mentioned and you'll never find a negative word said. He has been a picture of conduct and grace. He has always presented himself as a gentleman and a friend to his coworkers. The wrestlers on wwe, and the vast majority in AEW have no idea what it's like to live out of your car, get paid $0-50 dollars to wrestle a house show just to get their names out there or gain some experience. They worry more about fame and fortune and politicking than the art behind pro wrestling. They're drama kings and queens, comparatively. Heck with billy corgan bringing back the territories for NWA, Sting could just buy a small territory and use it to train and develop talent and his name ALONE would draw up indies to come wrestle for him where he could really teach them how to conduct themselves and have a successful career.

Sting is the GOAT of pro wrestling no matter what anyone says, he held the WCW on his back in the early 90's, took a small company of TNA and made it competitive with WWE, he took AEW to new heights brought in some major big names from WWE he is inducted in 3 different wrestling promotions and the wrestling Observer Newsletter Hall of Fame! The greatest match ever 55 mins with Ric Flair when he won the NWA World Championship his first time! Thank you Sting my favorite wrestler of all time! But something in my gut a feeling this isn't the last time we will see him in a match!

I don't think you can say he's the Greatest ever - Hogan for one had so much more influence. Having said that, I think you could say he has arguably the greatest career in wrestling history.the longevity, the opponents, the success wherever he's been and so on. It's often forgotten but at the time, Starrcade 97 was the biggest PPV ever.

Nobody can tell Tony nothin' after Sting's comments. Sting gave the kind of affirmation and confirmation that speaks to the very heart of anyone trying something hard-- you cared about me, you promised something special, you sacrificed and delivered. No wonder Tony's been fighting back the tears at every turn. It was powerful to watch.

It's been many years since I have wrote a comment on YT. I have first saw you at Starrcade 97. I was 10 years old. And that was my first touch with Wrestling. A year before my father showed me the movie the Crow and I remember being mesmerised by it. And then when I saw you my mind was blown and first I was thinking that the Crow was a real human being. Of course not knowing anything about Wrestling but I have been captivated by your theme, presence and Charisma. And then it just happened I became a Wrestling fan. My love for this profession grew behind the scenes as well and I informed myself about the business. I saw you in TNA and marked out. Abyss was my reason to watch TNA. I completely lost my mind when I saw you in WWE. I watched WWE sporadically, mostly only when Foley was having his insane spots and well deserved airtime. And I know that after you got injured and left WWE. That's where I stopped with Wrestling. I thought I grew out of it. Career and family took center piece in my life. Then Covid happened. Worlds has changed. Then just this year I was thinking to check online how you are doing and then I found out about AEW. And I'm hooked again man. I am a fan. So Steve, Sting, my Icon. I am eternallt happy for that send off. TK and Darby thank you so much for this. Damn Stinger you still got it, no you never lost it. Thank you for being humble and impacting so many people, young and old. It was beautiful to see the crowd, older guys who knew you from your NWA and WCW days and then seeing little Stingers with face paint. If you can inspire generations, this is where you surpass a legend status. Well deserved, Steve. I shed my tears in your final match and build up. I sighed with a huge relief when I saw you win and get this send off with your sons. From the bottom of my heart. Thank you Icon. Know this. Apart from my family, you had a huge impact on who I am today. Just like the Crow fought for love and avenged on the evil. Just like you always fought for the right reasons, fought against the bad guys, the politicians and egomaniac without giving up on your beliefs. You are the definition of a real hero to me. I'll never forget you and I will stand up to injustice, inspired by who you are and what you stand for. One last time: Thank you Showtime! Thank you Forever!

Not too familiar with his WCW career since I first gotten into wrestling during Ruthless Aggression, but when I was introduced to TNA, that was when I was introduced to Sting. I remembered him with that promo segment he had with Hulk Hogan in the office (during the Immortal storyline), when he tossed all the office supplies and threaten Hogan and applying make up on him (which was the introduction to his Joker gimmick). I was thinking that it would never happen as he had to drop the titles. But no. One more iconic performance! He was great in his last match. AEW definitely isn't my favorite. They definitely need better creative and a better idea to figure out what to do with who. A lot of that insane talent is being squandered. With that being said. #ThankYouSting🦂 and big shout out to the AEW Dare Devil Darby Allin! Dude is insane. Darby always gives 110% and puts his body on the line every match. Much love and respect to both Sting and Darby. They were an awesome tag team, that gave us awesome memorable matches. Great time to be a wrestling fan and im glad that i got to witness it.

Sting is a LEGEND and one of the best to ever do it! Loved seeing him in the 90s when Razor told Sting about The Crow and he turned from a neon wearing babyface to a mysterious character that was just what they needed in WCW cause it was all NWO and he made it interesting again cause there was someone who could actually give them a fight. Him vs Hogan with such a build up was sketchy cause the ref screwed up the fast count but was still sick he got the title! Congrats LEGEND and thank you for all the years you entertained us and always respected he never left WCW and was loyal likeThe Undertaker did in WWE. Amazing way to end it!
