Hey Nick. I use the Stirling Sharp Dressed Man post shave balm. You are absolutely correct in your description of the scent! I love it and find myself using it as a moisturizer even when I don't shave. Plus, it has such a classy scent that it's definitely usable as a cologne. I'm definitely curious to try the aftershave splash to see if there are any differences. I've also been wanting to try both the splash and balm together after my shave.

Thanks for reviewing this. Have you also tried their aftershave balm? Stirling's shave soap, aftershave splash, and balm trifecta are excellent. Bath soap is nice too. Sharp Dressed Man and Barbershop are my favorites.

Love this scent. It's got this grassy tinge to it, but not so much that it gets in the way. Pretty consistent between the shave soap, splash, and balm, but the bath soap version smells a bit different to me... Probably other ingredients getting in the way of the scent a bit. It's pretty great using all 4 products in succession though. Glad you're getting the word out in this scent.

The soap and aftershave are great and leave your face feeling crisp and clean. The aftershave balm which surprisingly unlike the aftershave made my face sting like I'd rubbed my face in a juniper bush inhabited by angry bees. Even after washing and reapplying the aftershave it took a bit to calm down. The scent is a bit sharp at first but settles into a rich fresh soapy smell.

I'm going to have to give this one a try. Once I finish off my puck of Ogalalla bay rum shaving soap, I'm going to order some sterling soap and aftershave asap!

DOPE SCENT I have a double puck of the shave soap and a bottle of the aftershave splash and I always top it off with the Sharp Dressed Man aftershave balm. I'll smell like it all day!

Question i got a bottle of SDM but after 4 times of use the fragrance just vanished all I smell is the alcohol is that normal or did I just get a bad bottle?

Hey Nick, great review as always! I ordered the aftershave splash in the Ozark Mountain scent and it is wonderful! I've seen that you like the ozark mountain shave soap so I think you should check out the splash. It smells identical. Also it is much stronger so I can smell it almost all day long! Overall great product at a great price. Thanks for the great videos!

Creed's Green Irish Tweed is one of my all-time favorite scents! So I'm definitely going to order this and I will let you know how close they resemble one another. But I have a feeling that it's going to match David Off's Cool Water a lot more because it costs so much money for the ingredients alone and that's why Creed's GIT is so expensive. As a quick sidenote Cool Water and GIT smell similar because one of the original creators of the scent left Creed to make that smell with David Off but a lot more affordable. To me the scents have a drastic difference as a whole but the base note is somewhat similar

I'm very interested in your feedback on this! I'm very new to fragrances, but the scent that pushed me to get into it was SDM. I've gotten multiple compliments when wearing it, and I picked up a bottle of Cool Water to use an alternative because I simply cannot afford GIT. I haven't read anything from someone who's used all 3, so I'm looking forward to your $0.02.

Hey Nick, Is it does Smell like Creeds Green Irish Tweed, I have that Fragrance, but for those who wouldn't spend close to $400.00 for a Cologne, get Tres Nuit by Armaf, smells just like it. I sprayed both on bother my hands and I couldn't tell the Difference.

Hey Nick, could you do lather and shave reviews with the Kiss My Face Moisture Shave creams? I've been reading some good things about these creams on the Internet and an 11 oz bottle retails for around $7-8, so definitely a good guy if it performs well. I'm sure other new wet shavers, like myself, would really enjoy your thoughts. I believe these creams are easy to find at major retailers like Walmart, Target, and Vitamin Shoppe, another convenient aspect of these creams. Thanks in advance for your consideration of my request! I really enjoy your videos, shave on!

I wish this were available in Australia. Unfortunately, the aftershave splash can't be shipped out of the US.

Just use a redirection service like borderlinx. They'll give you a US address and then they'll forward your package on, for a fee of course.

I've always tended to stay away from after shaves that have alcohol because I hear that they tend to dry out your skin. I usually go with a lotion instead. What's your opinion on that?

I've personally found that it's somewhat true. I did get dried out from multiple uses of AS splash, but it doesn't effect me as much if I only use it on my neck, and keep the overall usage to 1-2 applications per week. I always use a post shave balm, and normally use an alum block in lieu of AS splash. I know that Nick often substitutes AS splash for things like alum and witch hazel.

Stirling also makes an assortment of balms, which I have used, and they work great. They are actually cheaper than the splashes too, at about $6.75 for 4 ounces.

This is one AS that doesn't dry my skin out.
