So excited you got back to Canada, and April is usually sweater weather lolol..it was so fun to see Shilo and especially Kathleen….as well as your other table mates..so there is another retreat that is actually in Edmonton, you ladies should switch and go there one year, I definitely would attend….I do love to travel, however we usually come to the states….hobby lobby and such…lolol…western Canada also has geese….lolol…thank you for taking the time to video….tell Kathleen she is missed on flosstube…

1992, actually! 😂 32 years in the making! It's older than some (many?) of the stitchers there. I don't usually keep track of dates and hours worked, but for this one I did and at one point there was a gap of 7 years that I didn't even pick it up. But to quote Peter Quincy Taggart, "Never give up! Never surrender!"

Loved the video! I took several screenshots so it’s kinda like you took me shopping. Seriously…watch out for Canadian Snow Geese. Long story but I got wing-slapped by one a few years ago. It almost knocked me out! 🤪 I live by a school and there is a big field next door. They hang out by the dozens all summer. They can get pretty mean and they like to block the street. Silly Geese! 😂 Looking forward to seeing the haul!!

I don’t think kits were offered for this chart! But there are thread packs available on forbidden fibers website!

I used to cross stitch 40 years ago so I watched your retreat show. I am amazed at the lingo I don't understand. Can you please explain: kit it up and conversion? Thanks, really loved the show.

Sure! Kit it up just refers to getting all the supplies together for a project, so a chart plus fabric and flosses! A conversion is when you change your flosses from what the original chart calls for, either changing colors completely or just converting the colors to a different brand's threads

Someone gifted me that at a retreat once! I think there are tutorials online but not sure exactly what it’s called! It’s super handy though!
