Hi Anna. Thank you for a very interesting episode. Just wanted to let you know I really have enjoyed books by Freida McFadden. The first one I read was The Teacher. It was very good, with lots of surprises to the very end. Also The Housemaid is very good. I think that is the first of the series. I have been watching you since the pandemic started and you are one of my favorites. Back then I enjoyed watching the episodes when you were filming in your camper. You always make me smile!! Thanks for doing your channels. I enjoy both. 😊

It is so important to recognize and focus on the positive things in our lives…..less judgement. I love the small cross stitch of just the Eiffel Tower. I also love the Tiny Modernist chart you showed, definitely on the darker green. Sounds like a love a lot of things from your visit today 😄 it is always a pleasure to visit with you!

I still write checks to my plumber/electrician and my cpap doctor. The only reason I do that is that they are not up to the digital day yet. I chose black fabric for a really bright, cheerful pattern and it looks gorgeous but that black fabric is a burger bear. Love you.

Hi Anna, love this episode! First, I'm so excited to hear Beth finished charting your anniversary stitch, I'm gonna have to chat with you or Beth cause I'm gonna need to stitch it for my mom lol. Second, I love that Women of Honor Sampler... adding it to my ever growing list of things I need to stitch. And third, I love both the Paris charts you you got and you can't go wrong with either one. I think I would have to choose Pretty Little Paris as my favorite though.

Thank you for the visit :). I'm glad to hear that you are using your frame and practicing the two-hand stitch method. I do love when I can stitch with both hands. I think I would look for a darker green for your tiny modernist - I'm sure that with changing thread colors, you could do it on the lighter green but it would have a much different vibe. I like the full coverage, postage stamp looking Paris chart. it's so cute. I haven't read that author yet, but I do love a good mystery! I am not caught up in reading all of them, but have read the first 4-5 of Frank Tallis's Max Liebermann Series set in Vienna at the turn of the 20th century. I love an Agatha Christie! But for something a little edgier, not gory, not full of bad language, I really like these. PBS has turned some of them into 2-part tv shows.

It made the chore more enjoyable!😂 My daughter got me started on Freida McFadden, I’ve read 2 so far and a 3 rd is in my plié! I’ve read Never Lie, Ward D and both were page turners and kept me wondering what would happen next! I don’t know about the one you mentioned but I think you should give it a try! My next one is The Locked Door ! She has several books to choose from, I hope you enjoy it and will read a few more ! I also like Colleen Hoover, I’m reading Too late right now, it’s a bit different than her others but still keeps me reading beyond my bedtime !😂.

I love both of the Paris stitch possibilities that you've chosen but my favorite is the tiny one with the Eiffel Tower. I just think it would look so cute stitched up and put in a little square frame and to sit on one of your bookshelves in front of your books. It's so cute and would suit to become a unique little bookshelf treasure. I would prefer some darker green fabric for the Spooky Teapot just like the fabric shown in the picture. I love the pictures of the biscornus that you posted at the end. I've never stitched a biscornu but really want to try my first one soon. Yours is looking so beautiful. If you're looking for a good mystery series, I would recommend Louise Penny. I don't think that you have to read her books in order but they are all enjoyable and I'm glad that I started from her first book in her series called 'the Inspector Gamache series". She is a canadian author and her books are funny, light, yet thought provoking enough, entertaining, and very well written. Thank you for another wonderful video! Oh my, I've added such a chatty comment this time around.

Hi Anna, it's me again. You responded to my previous comment already, so I'm adding another instead of just editing the other one. I found the two BBD Eiffel tower charts. One, "Souvenir of France" is free and if you go to the Geary's Fans of Blackbird Designs site, if you click on their "Chart Inventory" tab, you'll find a PDF and download it. The other one, the stocking, "Souvenir of Paris", unfortunately is out of print. It's in the "Joyeux Noel" book.

Oh man...Spooky Teapot! Must have. I will definitely get that dark green, which is Tumbleweed by Wichelt. It is "stiffer" than most, but that is my jam. I only stitch on Wichelt because I need my fabric to have serious body. Har. I adore that little full coverage Paris stitch. Since you said it looks like a postage stamp, I would have to make it with a edge that resembles a postage stamp, would not be that hard, I don't think LOL. I'll have to catch that version of Murder on the Nile movie. I have not seen that one. Movies about Egypt brings back one of my bucket list trips. My sister and I were in Egypt 24 years ago 😱😱late December 2000 to early January 2001. We spent three glorious weeks from Cairo to Aswan to Luxor and beyond. I have a 5" scrapbook to tell the tale. We were inside several pyramids and sailed down the Nile. So movies about that area flood me with memories of that magical adventure! Hugs from NE Ohio my friend!
