So nice to have you back! Great skirts on both of you. I think I prefer Nikki’s styling since with her height she can carry that length and the boots and blazer are not overwhelmed by the size of the skirt.

I made a swirl skirt when I was in my teens in the 1970's. It was just like this but each segment swooped up. Kinda like a tilted "J". It was so cool.

I'm not big on wearing that much color but I love the overall look of the pattern. I've been wanting to make a skirt with alternating fat and skinny stripes so I'm going to try with your pattern. Since I'm new to sewing I'll probably go with a mix of 12 and 24 patterns. When (if) I get it I'll send you two pic. Anyway, thanks for the pattern and great tutorial.

Working on my first one today for my 5 year old daughter. Have to add the waste band then hem the bottom and will be done. We did a valentines theme boho, she calls it a Encanto skirt lol. We only needed 20 panels. Pink with red Lady bugs and hearts, solid pink, black with red polkadots and black.

Wear it around the house! I am looking to get out of my jammy pants and stretch pants so I’m going to make skirts. I also don’t have courage to wear my self made clothes out in public but I’d sure wear them at home and have fun doing it. I will be the eccentric me I’ve always wanted to be. !! Lol 🙏🏻💃😊💕

Hello ladies,, can you tell me please ,how do I make the waist band of a gypsy skirt that I bought a while back that was supposed to be an xxxl size to get my waist band big enough to fit , ?the skirt is very long, and has 4 rows or ruffles, this would be so helpful to me ,,hope you can help me. Plus I love the patchwork gypsy skirt, and very fabric saving,just gorgeous.
