The SARC MkVI 6pdr is a South African Light Tank in War Thunder for the British Tech Tree. The SARC Bobblehead has sat in my hanger completely stock since Operation IXWA STRIKE and today, I took it out to grind the modules.
In this video, I play the tank completely stock and show you all the games I attempted until I finally finished it. The SARC is such an amazing little light tank and I'm glad I took it out.
The SARC MkVI is equipped with the famous British 6 Pounder giving it well over 100mm of penetration. The gun once upgraded is really accurate so long range shots are easy. On top of that, literally... the SARC has a .50 cal BMG on top that sticks up a good 4 feet above the tank. If you switch to it you can use the scope to devastating effect by shooting tanks OVER the top of cover and there isn't much they can do about it.
Overall, the SARC is one of my favourite light tanks in the game now. So much versatility in such a small bumbling little car!

Having a 50cal is a such a huge buff to any vehicle. It's one of the reasons why the M8-LAC is so OP at 1.0. It's also what makes the Shermans a joy to play.

The M8-LAC is the best Reserve vehicle in the game in my opinion. I will glady play open-top to have a 50 cal with 360 degree rotation at this rank.

heads up for people loving the 50cal trolling in this - the m24 chaffee is also great for this - the large fountain asset reused on a lot of map is perfectly the right height for the chaffee to hide behind and pop tracks

It's not a MG view, you can select different weapons on your tank and aim through them if you set the keybinds up. So stuff like the M3 lee can aim through the main gun, fire, then aim through the secondary gun. You just happen to be able to select MG with it.

@@ford.imus. Controls, Ground Vehicles, search up "machine", should be the "Fire from machine guns" option Edit: If you do plan to do this, it makes it better if you also have the "Reset weapon selection" key binded as it makes it easier to switch back.

the SARC is REALLY good at climbing rocks to get into sneaky places, it has great traction and is very narrow, plus the cannon has heaps of recoil, so you can bounce yourself into even better places.

The SARCs are better in almost every way to the Concept 3. After I spaded the '3 I immediately swapped it out for the Mk VI as I -suffered- ground the rest of the British TT.

in my experience most war thunder videos are made posted by obnoxious uploaders ,who yell through the whole video, or act like a 12 yr old in a CoD lobby. Its refreshing to watch a great video , with a good uploader who is chill. he makes this game look real fun

Hey Bawz @ 40:15 you say 'still no back-ups' but the spitfire has 1 back up available when you enter game. I've never had a back up issue but I can imagine how frustrating it must be for you. I’ve used this thing all the way up to 6.0. It is still useful with decent speed and that tall .50 it is a scouting monster even if it’s gun is lacking at higher tiers.
