STOCK DUALLY WITH BIGGER TIRES / FORD F350

2013 Ford F350 Dually Stock 17 in wheels - upgraded to a 33 in tire with stock rims. Added a 1 in leveling spacer to the front, nothing added to the back set. If you have any questions about this setup ask me below. I couldn't find much information on this when I was in the market for new tires. Will link the tires I used below.

I just put Mickey Thompson Baja Boss A/T's on my 2015 f350 drw, 255/85r17, they're 35x10x17, the only tire in this size, best tire I've ever owned bar none. Just recently got to run them in -25 on ice and snow and they're comparable to my buddy's f350 with studded winters. Absolutely amazing tires and look awesome, they also clear without spacers.

@john m nope! They're close because the sidewall lugs are beefy but they have some wiggle room

@Brian James not bad at all, I could barely notice a difference from the ko2's to these, just a tad more but not bad at all

I have 265/70/17 Toyo AT3 on my 2005 f350 dually they fit perfectly without spacer

I stopped buying Toyo tires because the last set I got said (made in China) the set before that were made in Japan, and the ones on my step dad’s truck were made in USA, once I saw made in China that was a no go for me.

Just put on 255 80R 17 Toyo AT3 on my 2019 F350 Platinum dually, no spacer up front though.

80psi on the rears? That's about max psi rated for the tire Itself right? I keep mine at 65psi rear on a 315/60r20 towing roughly 16k-18k total weight daily. Noticed anything higher starts to wear the inside of the tire plus rides rough. I do not run spacers ,but that's because the outer rim Is already designed with that negative offset to be able to run a wider tire without spacer.

Yeah these tires are rated at 80 max and thats what they are at now. It does ride rough empty at 70 MPH. Maybe ill try out lowering them and see if it helps any

@CPS Siteworks Most definitely. Go off what the side of the door says. Even though It's not the same tire size as stock the readings are designed for that specific truck and as long as you don't go over 80psi max that chart is good for any tire or rims size. I have another dually on 22" semi truck with 35x12.5 tires and I also run them at 65psi rear and 60psi at front. You will see 2 ratings one for "light load" & "max load" I just got for max since I use my all my duallys for hauling never empty weight. The only difference is the rear psi drops for light load to I think 45psi or 50psi at light load. Front stays the same since weight at Front never changes its a fixed rate. Try running at lower psi your ride should get better and tire life will be better won't wear out in the dead center as fast.
