Ever wondered what goes into a Restomod? This should help you out. We just got this (almost) stock 79 Gen 2 Bronco in the shop to do a full restomod on it, so we thought we'd compare it with this Bronco that we just finished up. We didn't paint this one, but we did a full Coyote Swap and custom interior on it. It looks and drives amazing. The difference is pretty crazy. Computers ruin cars. I've got a 96' Jimmy and in the middle of summer it'll just die. Kill the whole motor because the computer can't handle the heat. Thing won't even start without that damn computer operating, it's retarded

I don't compliment very often, but I gotta say, I LOVED this video. Something about these late 70's just gets to me, and while usually don't like modernized oldies, that refurbished Bronco is very appealing. Keep up the great work! I'll be eagerly awaiting further content about these!

Those " stickers" are freewheeling decals. I know you could order them for non freewheeling packages, but that one has the black bumpers and mirrors like a true freewheeling package came with.

I can't wait to follow this build!!! I have your door panels in my 79 Bronco Ranger XLT and absolutely love them. I'm waiting for you to make the rear panels available for sale. I was happy to get a little sneak peek of them in this!!! :D

Dude , all the dent sides have the hood release in the same place and requires 'da fonz bump" to get it to pop. Dude I laughed my ass off watching you struggle . GOD I could not believe MR>FAT fender draw a blank when opening the hood. I ALMOST peeed my pants Thanks mr dentside.

wow, those are very nice! I have a blue '78 manual. its a bit rougher but I'm working on it. I hate the interior door panels in these - I put real american walnut planks nutriveted to the steel panels, and finished in PTO. Love those broncos! I have another parts truck and I also have 2 spare tire carriers and some other parts that will go on eventually.

I restored a 79 over 20 yrs ago and drove it 15 yrs I moved farther out n the country and sold it because gas was eating me up. Mine was totally original except rims and ties. Mine had a split window n the back and my electric window rolled down n the back with a key. Everybody who owned a Bronco tried everything to get me to sell that split window to them. I said hell No. y would I do that? I had a lot of fun n that Bronco, hunting and camping and just driving it. Great trucks.

You have to give that hood a little smack with your fist between the O and the R to release the hood latch.

If I had one of the 2nd gen broncos, I would replace the original grill for a 73-77 dentside pickup grill. I never really liked the whole “square headlight” idea.

Gumby at TEXAS SPEED LAB PERFORMANCE is a master at those coyote truck engines. They can be a bitch to get working properly and he gets many sent to him to sort out. At any given time he will have 2 to 3 dozen coyote swaps in the works. Not bashing on you guys as I know you produce excellent work but those truck coyotes can cause folks fits

Dash color is stock and never matched the exterior color. Mine was that color dash with the dark poly brown color/white from factory with the light beige door panels.

@@FatFenderGarage No problem. Love your videos. Have purchased a ton of parts from you for two Coyote swaps. Did you ever have any luck putting Flaming River steering column kits together? One last question; this Bronco restomod has rear interior panels done custom by you, is that something you’ll sell? Thanks

@@BaerBronco We did figure out steering column kits! We will perfect them and put them up for sale in 2-4 weeks. We don't sell those door panels for the Broncos, but we can do them custom in-house if you really want. Definitely not a solution for everybody, but in the future we may start selling them.

He's literally just sitting there pointing at random shit and saying "this is.....a different color..probably original...looks like they did some stuff here....um..." Question?? I’m getting ready to buy the parts you offer for a coyote swap on a 1979 F-150 4x4 but I’m looking for a complete drivetrain of a 2018 F-150 or newer. Do you recommend a Mustang engine with F-150, transmission and transfer case? I see you swap to mustang engine. Thanks
